Albergo al Sole sits at the top of the magical town of Asolo and couldn't be more quintessentially northern Italian. There is wonderful history to the region, the structure and to the sisters who own and run the hotel. You know they are doing something right when, in this tiny medieval town, they have created a five star property recognized... More

The Albergo Al Sole is terrific hotel. The location is perfect overlooking the piazza in Asolo and the restaurant is one of the best in town. The staff was exceptional, providing useful tips and suggestions on local attractions, events and restaurants. The rooms were clean, quiet and reasonably sized and priced. The hotel also facilitated bike rentals and a cycling... More

The Staff, Michela, Silva and others were exceptional! They made my quick 4-day cycling trip seamless. Great staff, great food at in-house restaurant, beautiful location in historic Asolo. I highly recommend this hotel. If you want to cycle, staff can arrange bikes to be on premises. If you need a guide they can arrange that too. I did both and... More

We came here to spend New Year's Eve 2014-15, and was not disappointed. Staff was great. Location....even better. Several small bars and restaurants within 3-4 minute walk. This is a region where road bikes and trekking is popular, so walking the hills is a good activity. We spent 4 days, and did not have to leave this village. Wifi connection... More

The historic town of Asolo is worth a visit. It's in driving distance from Venice and Treviso and is situated atop a hill over looking the stunning surrounding landscape of wineries and villas. Albergo al Sole is in a great spot at the top of town and offers some beautiful panoramic views (if you're lucky enough to get a room... More

We found this hotel through SLH and booked for one night, en route from Venise to the Southern Tyrol. A very good choice, indeed. The hotel is in the middle of the old town, where, by the way, one finds an eclectical and quite extraordinary choice of high level boutiques. The reception was very friendly, parking behind the house, our... More

The staff at this hotel cannot be faulted. They are so friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are nice however even though we only booked a standard room I expected a little bit more for 5 star and the price we paid as it was a bit dark, the jacuzzi shower didn't work, and you have to get the reception... We spent 3 nights in the Albergo Al Sole at the end of a 6 week trip in Italy. Asolo is a charming town and the hotel is perfect. The location of the hotel in the center of Asolo overlooking the piazza and the old town was perfect for visiting this town and the surrounding area. Our room was very... More

I have stayed at the Albergo Al Sole on many occasions, initially on business trips and more recently for pleasure to enjoy paragliding in the local area. Every time the hotel, its environs and in particular, the staff, consistently deliver a "home away from home" atmosphere whilst being unobtrusive in the delivery. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored building... More

This is a review of the restaurant at Albergo Al Sole. La Terrazza is one of the highlights of visiting Asolo, known for its residents of Browning and Duse, and also for the many shops that make it a shopping delight for those seeking peace and quiet from Venice. But the hidden gem is La Terrazza, where we ate with... More
