If your type of accommodation is pure luxury in a modern building with an elevator in a touristy city like Florence, then this is not the place for you. On the other hand, if you want to stay in a great B&B overlooking the old piazza of a village that is full of history and close to the many wonders... More

It was a real pleasure to spend two nights with my wife and my two kids in this charming and lovely place. In this B&B everithing is accurately set-up, every little detail is cherished by Luca and Natasha. The rooms are enchanting, warm, simply delightful. The family room, just beneath a wooden roof, is wide and full of light. Also... More

This wonderfully inviting place overlooking the small square in the village of Sarteano gave us an opportunity to easily get acquainted with the southern areas of Tuscany and Umbria. Our hosts and owner, Luca, his lovely wife, Natasha and little Petra made us feel like part of the family. No travel books or websites can afford the insider information we... More

This is a lovely privately run Bed and Breakfast directly on Sarteano's main square. I am often in the area on business and have tried many places before. Il Pisolino del Grifoni was very comfortable with wonderful service and attention to detail from the owner. Breakfast was also lovely with fresh pastries, hams and cheeses and more than needed. If... We stayed in this B&B for three nights and were charmed by the simple and warm style, clean rooms and genuine welcome from Luca and Natasha. The rooms were well-equipped and of a generous size, and the breakfast in the dining room overlooking the piazza was a pleasure every morning. Great location and fabulous views. One note is to visitors... More

We have stayed at I Pisolini three times. it overlooks Sarteano's quiet but still animated main square. Luca and Natasha are very supportive and helpful hosts. There are just a handful of bedrooms and perfect breakfasts. And it was lovely to be able to walk the few steps to La Locanda dei Tintori and also Trattoria da Gagliano ( a... More

Lovely, rustic and quaint B&B in the centre of town. We stayed in the highest floor which was quiet and comfortable though opt for the larger room if with children. Luca runs the business and makes certain everything works well. Breakfast was abundant and delicious with a wonderful view of the piazza. Building has been renovated very tastefully and is... More

Sarteano is a Southern Tuscany "real" Italian Town and Luca Griffon has created a unique and fun property right on the main square of the old town. There is a "Bar Centrale" right out the front door that lets you watch the community walk by. When we were there one day there was an antique car show on the square.... More
