We arrived at the gated grounds of Historical Resort Pieve di Caminino and were buzzed in by Emy, with a friendly "welcome" coming across the speaker. Once we drove into the entrance way and parked, Emy came walking towards us echoing his previous "welcome." Immediately we felt as if we were truly welcomed to be there, not just guests checking... My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights in the Bifora Suite and loved every minute. Emy the owner couldn't have been more helpfull when making our enquiries and reservation and when we arrived he upgraded us to the Bifora Suite having originally booked the Library Room, which looked lovely as well. The place is full of charachter and charm.... More

Our comfortable quarters for a week were in an ancient building that had been lovingly restored. Our deck looked out over olive groves and vineyards. It looked and felt like a dream. Our host gifted us with wine from his & his wife's vineyards. Emy is a wonderful host (and he spoke English!). It was a great location to visit... More

My husband and I went on our first trip to Europe last May and we were thrilled when we booked our stay at the Pieve Di Caminino. Emy was very helpful in the booking process and made sure we had correct directions to the resort. Since my husband and I travelled all by train, we decided to use their personal... More

Thank you for your words about your stay, which I personally find very helpful for all future guests. Time has passed since you stay, and the bed and mattress in Genziano were totally replaced in November 2012 - too late for your stay - I know and I apologize: we should have changed them before the high season 2011 and... My mother and I enjoyed a blissful week escaping the bustle of London life in this beautiful setting and I cannot recommend it highly enough. A well kept secret that I had been recommended by my cousin, Pieve di Caminino certainly did not disappoint! With the warmest of welcomes, Emy provided the perfect balance of ensuring we had everything we... More

The entrance in the XI century church used as an "office" is impressive. Same for the warm welcome from Emiliano, or simply Emy, with water, coffee or a light homemade white wine. The rooms are all different filled with antiquariat furnitures. The view to the olive-trees yard is also breathtaking. Watch the sunset with your love accompanied by a Chianti... More

My Husband and I stayed 3 nights in the Gamekeepers house. Everything about this place is wonderful. The owner Emiliano, was a delight. No request was too much. He was so attentive to any need and he greeted us every morning. His attention to detail in making every room look so Tuscan and authentic was amazing to see. The property... More

This was one of the places that we were most excited about while traveling through Italy. The staff was very helpful and helped guide us through several trip options throughout our stay. We stayed 4 nights and were able to see much of the countryside including many hillside towns and a great beach resort of Castiglione della pescaia. The room... More

When we arrived to Pieve di caminino I couldnt believe the beauty of the place. It is an amazing resort with a lot of history to reveal to its customers. The hospitality was the best we had in Tuscany as Emiliano the owner of the resort is wonderful. He welcomes you with a bottle of his own great wine and... More
