We travelled with our older teens and stayed in one of the farmhouses on the property. The view was simply unbeatable. We could open the bathroom windows and bedroom windows to an amazing view of the vineyards. We also had an outdoor table that allowed us to enjoy this spectacular view with our morning coffee and watch the sunset. It... More

We went to the Castle on our last day of a multi day tour, with a group of 35... a corporate award trip for our best customers. Only 15 of us went on this excursion, as others were took trains to Venice and Rome... but the Castle was every bit as amazing as the other side trips. Views are second... More

It was a perfect day. I cannot help but smile whenever I think of the whole experience from the time that we arrived at beautiful Castello di Meleto to the time that we left,10 days later. We were delighted to be able to offer our guests an unforgettable experience and an opportunity to taste the very best that Italy had to... My whole family stayed here for a wedding and it was great! I loved the apartment set up! Such an authentic Tuscan experience! The grounds are stunning and the staff is polite and solicitous. Don't do breakfast though. Not worth the €12 they charge. You can drive to downtown Gaiole and have a wonderful panini at the local Alimentari. The riserva... More

We stayed in the castle part of this property. You need to do this as it is a once in a lifetime experience and it isn't even that expensive. The ceilings are crazy high, the doors are huge and heavy, and candles and a big gas fire furnace light/heat your room. Plus, since we stayed in one of the castle... More

The castle is beautiful and the tour guide who was also our server during the tasting was very attentive. The view from The castle grounds was beautiful. Unfortunately we did this tour after visiting smaller vineyards where we had private tours and very personal attention. The light lunch was also smaller than what we had at other smaller vineyards, however... More

There are few places I will return to in my travels. Castello did Meleto is one. The castle was enchanting, taking you back in time. The property and surrounding hills were beautiful. The staff was personable but not intrusive. The meals felt like a banquet for. A nobleman. And the wine......some of the best I have tasted.

We got married at this stunning Castle in July 2014. All of our family and friends stayed at the venue. All rooms were clean, comfortable and in keeping with the area, with stunning views everywhere you look. The staff at the Castle were all extremely friendly and helpful. When planning our wedding, we used the Castles own wedding planner, Katia,... More

We've enjoyed pretty much everything about our stay here: guided visit, spacious two-rooms appartment with floor-to-cieling windows with a view on typical Chianti scenery, lunch combined with local wines tasting, dinner in a restaurant at foothill. All priced more than reasonable, I'd say that's a real bargain!
