I booked the hotel via a travel agency and paid 240 Euro per night. First of all no room was prepared for us. Additionally we had some discussion about the half pension we booked. Well all of those topics could have been a mistake or just a bad day. But the room was big but not renovated since 20 years,... More

We were lucky enough to celebrate our wedding at Casa al Vento. We looked for a place where 45 friends and family could stay together for the week and enjoy a 3 day celebration of our marriage. Francesco the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful and basically all his suggestions where spot on. I had a hen night with ravioli... More

We stayed for a week bed and breakfast in room Foho. It had a shower room, sitting area which converted to a bed for our daughter and a spacious bedroom with a metal four poster bed. The road up to the resort is not tarmaced, quite windy, bumpy and steep at the end. It is well worth the drive as... More

We were invited to a truly internation wedding party and stayed for a week. Heavenly location, friendly staff, lovely landscape, good food and great wine from their own winery. We were lucky with our appartment, the fan was good enough to keep us cool ... but those with upper floor rooms were suffering from the heat - not all roms... More

I lived in Italy for 5 years (way back) I never saw a wild boar. When we stayed at "Borgo" and went on a hike it was the first time I have seen live wild boar. We celebrated by eating boar meat that evening (kind of a contradiction comment). Tuscany is all about wild game cooking. I am sorry if... More

When you arrive at Casa al Vento, you leave the world behind and find yourself in a small piece of heaven. It has everything so if you don't want to, you can just stay here and enjoy peace, quiet, good wine and great food! Positives: - the location: in the middle of vineyards, on top of a hill, away from... More

We have just spent a week at Casa al Vento, it's a wonderful place if you just want to chill out amongst the grape vines. Our Villa ha it's own pool and sauna so it was very relaxing under the clear blue skies and the Tuscan sun. There's plenty of things to do, table tennis, archery or tennis, or you... More

Excellent place to rest and forget about everything. Casa al Vento is located in the middle of nowhere (with nearly no cell phone / 3G connection). The place is very quiet and beautifully located in the middle of olive oil trees and wine yards. Very nice view from the swimming pool too. The restaurant is great. Great service and great... More

If you don't drive, you can't reach there. On the top of the hill in Chianti. Stunning view, quite, relaxed. The wine tour is an added value for my stay. Dinner is excellent and taste very homemade and paired with wines for each course. Staff are superb! Free WiFi. Really worth to have such experience! You won't get disappointed!

We stayed at this lovely wine resort near Christmas time. We stayed just one night on the 23rd. We rented a car from Hertz in Siena and drove about 30 minutes to get there. It was an easy drive and nice to get away from all of the train traffic. It was also easy to find with all of the... More
