Went to Elena Nappa's Borgo Argenina B&B a couple of years ago, sorry this review is so late! Elena opens her home with open arms to everyone. Our stay was one of the highlights of a 2 1/2 month trip to Europe. We stayed with Elena for a short time 3-4 nights, but wish it was longer. We had a... More

We stayed with Elena in the Borgo for a week and visited most of Tuscany, using her B&B as a base. We could not have asked for a more wonderful experience and plan to return. It is definitely at the top of our "bucket list". She is delightful and opens her "home" as if to family.

We stayed at Borgo Argenina on our honeymoon ten years ago and it was the best place we stayed in Italy. 4 wonderful nights with a fabulous breakfast every morning by Elena. The views are spectacular. She recommends places to go and restaurants to eat at. Centrally located in the Chianti region. This allows you to go to Firenze and... More

Would give this place 10 stars if we could...it's a wonderful place to relax and unwind after the hustle-and-bustle of Rome and Florence. Elena is a wonderful host - the cooking lessons and dinners, the dogs, the breakfasts, everything is perfect. Her place has amazing views, and she provides good information about local restaurants and other places to visit and... More

My wife and I stayed at Borgo Argenina in April 2013. It's been about a year ago to the day, and this review is so long overdue! We had the most magnificent time during our stay here. The owner, Elena, focuses so much of her energy on creating an authentic Tuscan experience for her guests in her home, and she... More

We stayed here in September of 2013 and loved every minute of it!!! After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence we headed here for 4 days and it was unbelievable how it made you appreciate Italy for it's beautiful countryside. Sitting outside having breakfast and looking over the vineyard was just amazing. It was so nice to meet... More

We spent 7 days here. We enjoyed the cooking class, along with the wine. The pace of things was wonderfully relaxing. All the other guests where in the same frame of mind, and the socializing was most enjoyable. We certainly made friends during our visit. The vistas and location was excellent for visiting regional attractions (vineyards, castles, monasteries). Unfortunately my... More

We stayed at Borgo Argenina for a week in April 2007 long before we started with TripAdvisor. But Borgo was so spectacular that we had to add a review. We spent a week using Borgo Argenina as our home base to explore the region. Elena is wonderful and her attention to detail unbelievable! We had several fantastic meals at restaurants... More

My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying with Elena at Borgo Argenina two times. Our experience ten years ago was so lovely that when we decided to head back to Italy last fall it made our decision of where to stay a simple one. That being said, we are not creatures of habit when we travel and... More

Thank you, dear Gerian, for your beautiful review . At the moment the B&B is closed for the winter season. We'll reopen in March with new ideas and new tips and maps for our guests. Chianti is lovely also in winter and we are renovating some of the rooms, painting walls and furniture I found at the Arezzo market. Everything has... More

My wife and I stayed at Borgo Argenina for 6 nights in September 2013. It was without question one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. When we arrived after a long and stressful drive from Venice, Elena told us that she had already made us a dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant. The wait staff spoke almost no... More
