We had a three night stay at Al Gelso in Mid 2015. We were a family of 8 and it was the end of our 15 days Italian Holiday. Perfect place to rest and recoup our energies before going to Venice. We had wonderful rooms and kitchen facilities for our family. For Dinner we went to Cafe Bijoy at Barberino,... More

We visited Al Gelso Bianco for a pasta cooking class. We wanted to stay at the property for our stay in Tuscany, but there wasn't availability for our entire stay. However, we did decide to visit for one morning to do a family pasta making class which was just a wonderful experience. We have 2 boys, ages 4 and 6,... More

Our family visited Al Gelso Bianco for a cooking class (pasta making)--I had found them recommended as a "child friendly" environment. They exceeded all of our expectations! In fact, when we had additional family members come a few weeks later, we went back again to do the cooking class with this group! We had an amazing time on both instances... More

There is no other place for us to stay when we return to Tuscany. We received a good deal of assistance in the process of making the reservation with staff more than helpful in handling a number of enquiries. Vittoria was most attentive in handling any queries we had before arrival, and was most helpful in providing tips on what... More

The search is over, you should stay here. We had our wedding at Gelso Bianco in June and hired the whole place. It was all was perfect, from the beautiful apartments and gardens to the wonderful staff. The setting is stunning and it is a little oasis of tranquility which works for friends, couples and families alike. There are some... More

We just came back from a stay at Al Gelso Bianco and overall had a good stay. Pros Could not ask for a better location from Tuscany - central yet close to the city - we visited 9+ cities in 6 days. The grounds are beautiful - well maintained and stunning views. The pool is key in Tuscany in the... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. They make the whole family feel very welcome. Al Gelso is ideally placed for days out and is within striking distance of several good restaurants. The pasta making course is great, they engage the whole family in the process, you drink wine as you go and then eat the excellent pasta. We stayed in... More

The welcoming team and family owners at Al Gelso Bianco shared their beautiful property, stories and smiles to provide us with a very special week in Tuscany. Our six year old daughter just loved the pool, which was kept at a comfortable 20 degrees Celsius. She swam every day, sometimes twice, and even in the rain. She and I had... More

We spent weeks, months, looking into the many hundreds of villas that are available to rent throughout Tuscany. We are so incredibly happy that we chose Al Gelso Bianco as our Tuscany home for our stay. Pictures simply don't do it justice, the views of the vineyards and olive groves with the towers of San Gimignano in the background make... More

We stayed at Al Gelso in mid May and it was a highlight of our 6 week tour of Italy. One of the things I really wanted to do whilst in Italy was to stay in the Tuscan countryside on a beautiful property amongst undulating hills, overlooking vineyards and this is exactly what I was looking for. The property itself... More
