We have been to Tuscany for 5 times. Our stay at Castello di Pastine was one of the best (if not the best) so far. We found out about this place through friends (we visited Guido some years ago to pick up some things) and remembered the kindness of the hosts. We rented the La Francigena apartment (we are a... I spent a week at Castello di Pastine with my girlfriend and I still can't believe how great a find it was. Within minutes of arriving I felt relaxed. I have to admit I was tempted to keep this one as a prized secret but that's not fair to the proprieters. While the location is a bit out in the... More

Our characterful and functional apartment was on the first floor with a huge verandah where we ate breakfast and dinner. Beautiful views. A sense of having a real home from home. Quiet, idyllic. Guido was welcoming, helpful and discreet. The pool and surrounding area is beautiful. Recommended for well-behaved families who respect their surroundings. A wonderful stay. We met other... More

The Castello di Pastine has a most beautiful sunset from the terrace in the evening and beautiful views of Tuscany all the time. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The grounds are well-kept and beautiful with many plants and roses. It was a great pleasure to meet Guido and experience his love and enthusiasm... More

We had a wonderful time. The house/appartment provided more than generous space (we took the second largest option - 1A) and we had plenty of space for 3 adults and 3 children. Everything is clean and the kitchen has good appliances and enough utensils to work with. The gardens and surrounding areas are just beautiful. Even though the weather was... More

Had a wonderful 5 days in the 1 bed apartment. Really relaxed environment with stunning views over Tuscan countryside. Brilliant, massive swimming pool and relaxing hot tub. Nice shared BBQ area and tennis court, suit families or group of families.

My husband and I spent two weeks at Castello Di Pastine last August for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Mansarda apartment which was spacious and 'authentic' in terms of decor. In Manasrda there isn't an actual oven, just a hob. Not a problem for us as we ate out a lot but just something to consider. It was a... More
