We were a family of 20 people aged 8 months to 61 years old, Second time visiting and it won't be the last. Plenty of room for everybody to rest or play, and plenty for the more active ones to do. Beware Guido, the host, inviting you to join with him and friends in an evening football match - my... More

Our third visit to Castello was every bit as lovely and memorable as our first, 5 years ago. You don't need to look anywhere else if you want a wonderful holiday in Tuscany. Perfect environment in which to enjoy it all!

We enjoyed a lovely fortnight at Castello di Pastine with our two children (7 and 9). The property and facilities were excellent. Beautiful, immaculately clean pool, lovely grounds with terraces, sunny and shady areas (perfect for hot days), table tennis, tennis and a nice children's play area. Boules and other games and books provided, plus a small selection of DVDs.... More

We have been to Tuscany for 5 times. Our stay at Castello di Pastine was one of the best (if not the best) so far. We found out about this place through friends (we visited Guido some years ago to pick up some things) and remembered the kindness of the hosts. We rented the La Francigena apartment (we are a... I spent a week at Castello di Pastine with my girlfriend and I still can't believe how great a find it was. Within minutes of arriving I felt relaxed. I have to admit I was tempted to keep this one as a prized secret but that's not fair to the proprieters. While the location is a bit out in the... More

Our characterful and functional apartment was on the first floor with a huge verandah where we ate breakfast and dinner. Beautiful views. A sense of having a real home from home. Quiet, idyllic. Guido was welcoming, helpful and discreet. The pool and surrounding area is beautiful. Recommended for well-behaved families who respect their surroundings. A wonderful stay. We met other... More

The Castello di Pastine has a most beautiful sunset from the terrace in the evening and beautiful views of Tuscany all the time. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The grounds are well-kept and beautiful with many plants and roses. It was a great pleasure to meet Guido and experience his love and enthusiasm... More

We had a wonderful time. The house/appartment provided more than generous space (we took the second largest option - 1A) and we had plenty of space for 3 adults and 3 children. Everything is clean and the kitchen has good appliances and enough utensils to work with. The gardens and surrounding areas are just beautiful. Even though the weather was... More
