Have just spent two nights at this hotel during a tour around Tuscany. The hotel is modern and sited on the outskirts of Poggibonsi. Some have commented about its location being near an industrial estate but it is quiet at night and very handy for road access to the main tourist areas. If you don't want to eat in the... more

We spent only one night in this hotel prior to our stay in a villa near Ambra for a week with friends. There were 10 of us staying all together and we found the hotel excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was stylish and clean. We didn't eat in a restaurant, but merely... more

This hotel is comfortable enough, very small bathroom, tight shower. The major problem I have with this place is that it is so far from anything that it is not a good idea for people who think they will be close to any town. It is in the middle of nowhere. If you are going on business then it's just... more

We visited the Barberino area in early August 2007 as we're getting married there later this year. The drive from the Fi-Pi-Li motorway to the hotel really gets you into the holiday mood, lots of quiet little towns, some with stop-go systems as the streets are too narrow for two-way traffic. Scenery pales in comparison to the nearby Chianti region... more

The hotel was very nice, stayed there for 10 nights. The location is probably not the best, in an area of traffic, but close to the supermarked(over the road) and very close to San Gimignano. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was very nice, the food excellent and the pool area was great. An excellent hotel if you are... more

Although this is not the most attractive place to stay the hotel is very clean and the staff are great, this place is a great base if you want to travel to some great places as it is not far from the main highway which will take you almost anywhere. we have stopped here twice and have used it as... more

I am writting this from the lobby of the Semifonte, Since, I am so bored and disgusted here. I'm sure its a great place to stay if you have a meeting at the factory, but DO NOT believe the beutiful photos and write up on EXPEDIA. It is a motel (it is clean, and the staff friendly) in a facotry..... more

If you think you are booking a hotel in the beautiful Tuscan Hills-- YOU ARE NOT. The location is in a no-where suburban town that feels much closer to Newark NJ then Tuscany. There is nothing to do around this place -- you are in the lowlands of boring -- I would stay away if you are expecting a cute... more
