We had a wonderful stay at the farm!! Beautiful setting, great food and amazing hosts. We brought our kids and they had a wonderful time running around the farm. The rooms were fine but really the setting is what you are there for and it is totally worth it. If you go you should definitely stay for the dinner!! We... More

We stayed at Agriturismo for one week in early April 2015. The property is located in the countryside about a 20 min drive from the town of Alcamo. Easy to find. The owner, Filippo, is very friendly, easy going, and helpful. Every day he met with us and chatted, made recommendations and also gave us printed directions and brochures to... More

A very different kind of break for us but most enjoyable. We were made most welcome . Had a lovely evening meal and the rooms were very comfortable. Enjoyed wandering round the vineyards meeting the workers and trying a grape or two. The staff and a bottle of wine appeared on our last evening , sat outside our rooms til... More

We stayed mid October and, it was our first night in Sicily and after attending a wine festival at Camporeale. An excellent local event. The farm is quite isolated in very quiet countryside. We had a warm welcome & our bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable Dinner was excellent and the wine (merlot) was smooth & moorish! We enjoyed... More

This place is so lovely and authentic, surrounded by fields and farms. The staff is very kind and helpful. Don't miss a dinner at the place, include great authentic sicilian food made especially for you from the farm products.

Lovely place, surrounded by fields up a long dirt track not far from sleepy Alcamo. Rooms basic but decent. Filippo (speaks good English) and his staff are incredibly welcoming and we had one fantastic dinner here. There was no-one in the room next to us so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was very atmospheric... More

The tripadvisor reviews for this place really pulled through for us. We could not sing enough praise about Tarantola, and Filipo, Barbara and Rino- our gracious hosts for the stay who really make you feel like your visiting family. The farmhouse is located on Filipo's organic farm/estate, from where he sources all of his ingredients for meals and his delicious... More

We visited Segesta in the morning then drove to Tarantola for il pranzo. The drive from Segesta is absolutely beautiful as is the setting for Tarantola. Filippo, the owner of Tarantola met us on arriving. We could not have been met more warmly by family. We began our meal after a tour of the vineyard. Reno introduced each course with... More

We had the great fortune to participate in one of the cooking classes at Agrirturismo Tarantola while staying in the Scopello area. What a treat! Filippo was a wonderful host who demonstrated such passion and respect for nature and the importance of developing quality relationships with his clients. He was humble, gracious and entertaining. In the kitchen, Barbara, Reno and... More

Agriturismo Tarantola is a heavenly location. Nestled quietly among the vineyards, all cares just disappear. When evening comes the heavens show all their glory. Great food. Truly friendly atmosphere.
