Casa Talia is what I would describe as " understated luxury" and their "slow living" motto fit's it perfectly! I booked our week stay rather late but everything was handled very smoothly by Marco. The room available was probably one of the smaller ones but it is beautifully designed inside, we had our own fridge to keep our wine, which... More

My fiancé and I stayed at Casa Talia for 2 nights in September. The highlights of this B&B are the incredible views over Modica and the peace and tranquility of the private terrace and small garden where it's possible to relax during the day. We booked one of, if not the smallest rooms at Casa Talia, which I regret a... More

Casa Talia is a unique place: the garden is beautiful and peaceful, with stunning views of Modica. The rooms were nicely done and the breakfast (served in the garden) was good. When we arrived they helped us settling in and gave us some good tips about restaurants in Modica, which all turned out to be great. While it seems far... More

We, a family of two adults and a teenager, stayed at Casa Tàlia for three nights in April. Booking was easy; Marco was friendly and helpful and spoke good English. As mentioned by many before, the place was a challenge to find despite being prepared for it with the instructions from Marco in hand. But, it was totally worth the... More

There are some real positives to Casa Talia, namely an amazing view and a nice garden for taking breakfast which was tasty but there were a few major negatives which we didn't expect when paying >€150 per night and it compared poorly to all of the other places we stayed in during our trip in Sicily. The main issue was... More

Such a unique property, this place is a hidden gem and guaranteed to delight the most experienced traveller. Cannot do justice to the spectacular views and layout/design of this hotel, very special. Despite its location overlooking the town it is very easy to walk to the bars and restaurants in the centre (as long as you don't mind the steps... More

We didn’t want to arrive at Modica too early, so went over to see Ragusa Ibla first. Parked at the bottom of the gorge and walked up...and up. Well worth the effort though, for the San Giorgio duomo and fantastic views. We phoned Marco at Casa Talia before leaving Ragusa Ibla, and successfully followed directions from Real Holidays to get... More

This place has stunning views and a nice breakfast with amazing coffee. It is hard to find, as other reviews have said. Here's the thing: it's incredibly bright in the morning. The shades are sheer and the sun comes directly over the town into the rooms. I'm a picky sleeper, so that combined with no extra blankets and cold at... More

We have travelled a lot an have stayed at many fancy B&B's and small luxury hotels but this one beats them all. Everything was perfect. We stayed at the Syrah room and had a wonderful terrace with a stunning view on Modica. Not only the view but the interiors and the gardens would also fit perfectly in e.g. the Wall... More

Whilst it is a challenge to find, I thoroughly recommend staying at Casa Talia if for nothing else but the views. The staff are very friendly and rooms and food good. I don't hesitate to recommend you stay but be prepared for some serious steps up and down to town which is half the fun,
