We spent 2 nights at Palazzo Failla and were very impressed with all aspects. The hotel itself is charming with very comfortable, clean rooms, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast is excellent with fresh products and the two restaurants are an experience not to be missed, especially La Gazza Ladra which was just incredible. Top marks to the... More

We stayed at the Palazzo Failla 2 weeks ago, for 4 nights. The transfer from Catania airport takes about an hour, and is undertaken by the hotel proprietor in person..........incidentally, a very friendly and welcoming man, with a warm personality and good sense of humour, so an entertaining journey. The hotel is great, 4 star, no pool, but nevertheless, a... More

Very easy to locate and parking was not a problem in the surrounding streets. Warm welcome and room was ready on arrival, an early arrival. Standard room was clean, basic but had all the required amenities. Pillows were small not very comfortable. Patterned floor tiles gave it a unique style. Breakfast excellent. Restaurant was 1 mins away from the hotel.... More

If you book a junior suite you sleep like in the past times: large room with high ceiling, old beds, everything very nice. The people are kind and very much focused on guests. From the hotel you just walk down to Modica and the many many many churches and domes. Nice and beautiful. Don't select a standard room.

Palazzo Failla has a very welcoming and friendly staff that spoils you with excellent service and a very good breakfast, including the best of coffees and (breakfast) cakes. The hotel has a diversity of characteristic rooms, a cozy bar and in the evening the luxurious breakfast room and garden terrace serves as restaurant La Gazza Ladra (1 michelin star). The... More

We stayed at Palazzo Failla just for one night during our Tour of Sicily. As soon as you get in, you get the feeling of being arrived in an aristocratic place. Touches of class and attention to details are everywhere. We were escorted to our room (a standard), which was very nice. Unfortunately it had only a ceiling window. So... More

This hotel is in a very quiet area of town. It is definitely 4-star quality, with a breakfast buffet to die for. The room was very comfortable. The hostess was very helpful. The only minus is that the Wi-fi connection was spotty in our room.

We booked the relax room in the dependance, for a pre-Valentine's weekend. This is the room with the jacuzzi, a couple of blocks away from the main hotel. The room was absolutely amazing - immaculately clean, heated, with great amenities including bathrobes, bathroom slippers, tonnes of channels on the TV, and our very own PC. Even though the room is... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights after reading the glowing reports on trip advisor, we were a little disappointed. We were travelling with a 5 year old. When we arrived a gentleman was fantastic with assisting us straight away with our luggage and parking of our hire car in the little street outside. We were greeted by the... More

We stayed in Hotel Palazzo Failla for 2 days in January 2012 and it was an unforgettable experience! It is a restored barocco palazzo with antique furniture, incredibly painted ceilings and historic floors. But what impressed us most of all is the service - the personnel was extremely friendly and helpful - they parked our car, made coffee for us... More
