The remote, quiet and pretty location is disappointingly ruined by three factors: - there is no soundproofing between apartments so the slightest noise, including bodily functions!, can be heard loudly - the breakfast has no choice: you get what the owners want you to have. If you like baked courgette in batter followed by tasteless lemon cake then this place... More

Hidden away in the countryside you won't want to miss this place. In fact, you may miss it but Crescenzio is sure to welcome you along the drive on his bicycle. A place where you wake up to the sounds of nature all around and sit on the terrace in the evening sunshine watching the kittens play. Breakfast is a... More

We booked this masseria for a few nights in October to get away ! And wow, it meets all expectations and more.... It is situated in the 'terra dei trulli' behind Martina Franca in the middle of nature with only the sounds of nature and cowbells. The masseria is a pretty place with a trillion on the properties. There is... More

A rural setting some miles out of Martina Franca ( you need a car preferably with GPRS) . This charming masseria is a perfect place to relax- wonderful breakfasts with homemade delicacies and liquors, comfortable rooms, pool, lovely grounds and great hosts. There are no meals served other than breakfast which wasn't a problem for us. Would suit a nature... More

I totally agree with everything the previous reviewer from Geneva has said about this masseria. The friendliness, Anna's multi-course breakfasts and Crescenzio's amazing hospitality were second to none. Note: Please diet before arriving as you are bound to gain weight!! We were there for one week and the breakfasts were different every single day! Visits to Alberobello (small town famous... More

Of course you read the reviews, and they are all truthful and accurate: it is the best place you can possibly find. Anna and Crescenzio are exquisite, in every way. This what you will NOT get: Noise, of any sort (no cars, planes, buses, horrible crowds passing by with loud music...). Impolite, disrespectful people: everyone will be just like you... More

The grounds around the masseria are huge so if you want peace and quiet this is the place to be. The owners, Crescenzio and Anna go out of their way to make you feel at home. The room we stayed in was located in a former stable. It was big and clean with a very comfortable bed. In the morning... More

I very rarely write reviews but sometimes you have to acknowledge excellence. The place is, as said in many of the other reviews, tranquil, beautiful and well appointed. However what makes Iazzo Scagno remarkable is the care and attention that Crescenzio and Anna put into every detail of your stay. Their hospitality is so generous and genuine that you can't... More

Just a dream! Incredible place, warming people, do not hesitate one second! It was our first stop in Italy and I will not forget... Breakfast were so good with fresh products: orange juice, bread, meat, fruits etc etc.... I hope to come back one day!

We went on a trip through Puglia for our honeymoon, so visited a few places in this region, but Masseria iazzo scagno was our favourite, by far. Crescenzio and Anna were so heart warming friendly, the appartment was so tastefully styled, and felt like a mini house, very cute. The breakfast Anna made us every morning was so delicious and...
