This was once a private mansion and now is a small boutique hotel with a combination of traditional and contemporary. Perfectly located just a five minute walk from the island with it's historical buildings and many good restaurants, bars and cafes. Our room was two story with the bedroom upstairs and two full bathrooms. There is a very bright and... More

Stressing the positives, I would have to mention the staff attached to this hotel They were really helpful to us , during our recent stay. The hotel is modern, within walking distance of the old town center, rooms are large and comfortable and the air con is good and quite. There is also a turn down service. Three aspects of the... Great service, beautiful room faced the back street so very quiet. Lovely buffet breakfast with all the things you can think of. Very well located too. The Dolce Vita restaurant was lovely end to our stay, perfect food. Recommended.

My husband and I spent a week in the middle of June in the hotel. We cannot find words to explain the pleasure to have been guests at Hotel Palazzo del Corso. The location of the hotel is great but what makes it so special is the staff of the hotel. From Lucca and his staff at the reception desk... More

We have just returned from a travelling trip through Bascilicata and Puglia. We stayed in five hotels in total - this was by far the best - I cannot recommend it highly enough. We had a wonderful room - Corallo - with a Trompe d'oil painted ceiling and a lovely canopied bed.Everything about the room and the hotel is charming,... More

we booked a suite, sadly I was not told that the suites are on the front of the hotel and this road is like a motorway- all night non stop - we would have been better with a standard double room at the back of the hotel for half the price and we would have slept Hotel is excellent apart... More

Had a little trouble finding the hotel which is actually on the main street on the left hand side as you drive into Gallipoli, just before the bridge onto the island. Tripadvisor map suggests it's on the other side of the road. We cycled from Lecce to Gallipoli and were met by friendly hotel staff who helped us garage our... More

Hotel Palazzo del Corso really is the primus inter pares. Nice Palazzo, every detail beautifully finished , incredible friendly and helpful staff, rooms with a lot of space and a perfect restaurant on a nice roof terrace with a ( little) pool. What more could you wish? Perfect choice.

We stayed one night at this Hotel in third week of Sept. We were greeted by very welcoming staff. We were able to park our car out the back of the Hotel without charge. Street parking at the front of the hotel is €1.50 per hour. We were shown to our room which was called the 'Auston Martin' room. It... More
