Federico and Laura run a great place made better by their bending over backwards to help us and our wedding guests. We booked most of the hotel several months in advance and had to change the booking several times. This was done without problems.the rooms have high ceilings, many with frescoes and the breakfast courtyard is perfect. Although f and l... More

I arrived at Palazzo Flora having just crashed my hire car while trying to negotiate the streets of the old town. First thing, whatever you do, park at the port and walk to the hotel, it'll only take a few minutes. The owner of the B&B Federico was a star. He calmed us down, sorted us out and said he'd... More

We stayed 6 nights here in May having chosen it from reviews on TA and we were not disappointed. The hosts Laura and Federico were very welcoming, extremely pleasant and the accommodation was good too. It's a quirky sort of place with lots of lovely deco and character. The breakfast is surreal, with items more akin to high tea but... More

We - my husband, two little boys aged 7 and 5 and myself - stayed at Palazzo Flora for 8 wonderful days and nights. The Palazzo is a great place to stay at: in a quiet street in the middle of the historical, authentic and beautiful Gallipoli feels like an oasis when you've been out in the bustling old town... We stayed here one night, end of September 2013. This is a very nice B&B. Actually it's more like a small hotel. It is situated in the centre of old Gallipoli in a very nice house, with a very beautiful staurcase in the hallway & decorated with beautiful paintings on the walls. Our room was very big and clean. The... More

We were very disappointed with Palazzo Flora. Much more a hostel than a B&B, there rarely seemed to be anyone around, we never did see Frederick. Rooms are very basic though reasonably clean. Breakfast was standard nothing appeared home made. There is no view and the small terrace is covered in metal tables and chairs for breakfast. This is a... More

I am someone who values good customer service - and i can't help but say thanks when it is derserved. I feel compelled to comment on Federico's s customer service skills. He has been attentive, helpful and gracious! - even before my visit to his lovely B&B. Ferederico - thank you for your support, compassion and good care! Grazie Mille!

To be honest, it is difficult to find this place with GPS and also there are restrictions driving into the historic centre. So the most reasonable thing to do is to call the B&B in advance and ask for guidance. It is possible to leave the car in a (free) public parking lot close to B&B. Palazzo Flora is an... More

Frederick and Laura were extremely helpful meeting us and showing us where to park and helping with our luggage. The palazzo is in the old town a few minutes from the sea and the the cathedral and main sights of the old town. Our room with frescoed ceiling was simple but very spacious and sunny with separate walk in wardrobe... More

We were given a very warm, friendly welcome here. We turned up without a booking and ended up with a small room and a very small bathroom but it was clean and serviceable and the shower was hot and powerful, all you need really, however, we saw some other rooms and they looked totally amazing and enormous! The entrance is... More
