We stayed at this charming Hotel for 4 nights. It was a 5 min walk to the train station, very convenient to see Cinque Terre. We liked the fact that we could leave our car there. The hotel has a swimming pool so it was nice to come back to the hotel for a nice swim after walking all day.... more

This is our second stay at Edera, once for a long weekend break 3-4 years ago and this time round a week at the beginning of July 2009. This is just a great place! Large room more than adequate for a family of 4, a breakfast that has everything and a truely wonderful restaurant which really puts a perfect end... more

We stayed at the Villa Edera for 7 nights -half board - in July 2009. Superior room, clean, air-conditioned with a large balcony. Safe parking for our car, a short walk downhill to the beach/town. The gradient of the hill is not as bad as other reviewers have made out, likewise the train noise from the convenient, nearby station is... more

We stayed a week, a sommer week with the almost impossible aim to satisfy the children need for playing, the adults need for relax and experiencing Liguria, and the overall need for sun, beach, and warmth. We arrived to Hotel Villa Edera after passing 5 one-way tunnels - you kind of loose direction! But we got back to the sun... more

Depending on your travel requirements this hotel could be a good fit or not. I typically stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. I'll make it short and sweet, Service was pretty good, their is an older swiss lady who is a delight and then the owner who is good but not accomadating. Location was the main downfall, as the... more

we stayed five nights and walked the cinque terra tracks and visited Portofino, beautiful. The hotel is located in a quiet environement, 5 minutes away from the strain station; no car needed. although no sea view, the beach is 5 minutes walk. friendly and helpful staff, they make you feel at home. more

Had a week here and have nothing but happy memories. Rooms comfortable, clean and air conditioned. Quite a quirky little hotel but we soon relaxed. We ate in on four of our seven nights and service was very good. Nice range of courses which the girls in particular really enjoyed. With four courses, it meant they could give different things... more

Villa Edera is a gem of a small, family run hotel. I spent a very long time researching hotels in the Cinque Terre, and so many of the reviews that I read indicated inconsistent quality at some hotels. I selected Villa Edera based on the positive traveler reviews on Trip Advisor. There weren't a huge number of reviews to read... more

My 1st Italian visit was a memorable one. We arrived at 10.30 pm. A beautiful meal was prepared which we thoroughly enjoyed after a 4 hr train journey. Villa Edera became our hub from which we explored Cinque Terre and beyond returning each evening to a wholesome repast. Hotel is family run and personal. Every request was attended to .On... more

Our family of 4 spent 3 fantastic days at Villa Edera. The hotel was very luxurious but with a friendly and homely atmosphere. Our rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The hightlight of our stay was the amazing selection of food. We dined at the hotel restaurant every night and enjoyed many beautiful meals. The breakfast was the best we... more
