Malia is great if you want to party all the time and chill at the beach or pool all day! plenty great places to eat drink! drinks are cheap, befriend the PR's and you'll get a good deal! go to Zoo for cocktails! Firstly, I have to explain that there is 3 hotels in this group. The Ilios Malia, Ilios 1 & Ilios 2. Ilios 1 & 2 are opposite each other further down the strip. I did not stay in those hotels. Once there, we were made to pay an additional fee for air con and a safety deposit box (neither of which you had to purchase but would obviously have been good). The actual room deposit was €50 EACH!! Which we thought would have been between us! They had a policy of keeping your passport for the length of your stay... more

34 of us went to stay at the Ilios resort in Malia, and all agreed by the end of the week that we had had a great time in Malia. The hotel is right on the strip and like everywhere else it has its own bar, it also had a fairly small swimming pool (although space is clearly a premium).... more

this is a great hotel, far better than what i expected for a twentys holiday. the sun bar staff, chef and owner could not do enough to help you... clean , tidy and large. in the middle of town . ideal location. pool is small ish , but big enough for a small swim . ideal for just lazin around... more

Dont get these apartments mixed up with the 2wentys/ first choice, illios 1 + 2 studios, these are far better further up the road accross from Big Ben bar. 4 star.
