Well, this is a really nice resort very good for vacation with kids. big territory with lots of entertainment. spacious beach with good entrance to the sea. close to center of malia, so it has easy access to bars and restaurants. very helpful staff at reception. We picked up this hotel because it belongs to the Calimera chains, it is ideally situated on a long strip beach, the sea is rough and when the wind blows (and it does ..) me and my son had a great time together fighting against the waves. I have spent 7 days in the hotel and would not recommend visiting it.That was not as good as it is described : The hotel requires urgent refurbish! That is not that clean.The food is OK but almost the same everyday, 2 or 3 sorts of fruits only.The service is OK.

The hotel is only 25 minutes from the airport in heraklion. We had a wonderful stay a the hotel. We´re arrived at 11 pm in the hotel. We had a vacation from 10 till 18th of august, in the part of Italians, which is called beach. Well, it was not so bad as in earlier recensions but still far from 4 stars resort. Pleasant stay . Nice pools and Bar - all included, clean rooms, close and clean private beach. our family and friend had enjoyed our stay there. great selection of food. The staff was very helpfull. excellent location - 3 min walk from Malia main ST. We'll come back again.

couple late fifties just returned 27.05.12.very enjoyable stay .food was excellent great choices .soups main course excellent .very clean .pools and beach bars clean .plenty of open space to roam .no need to pre book sunbeds .you are situated next to beach with ample sunbeds .malia strip is about 400 hundred yards away.
