My brother, who has a vacation home on the island of Rugen, put us up at Roewers Privathotel in Sellin. Thank you, bro! What a wonderful stay, from the first welcoming drink to wonderful dinners and breakfasts. Being located at the preferred Eastern area of the island, it is easy to get around the sights and beaches, of which there... More

If we visit Rügen again we will live in Sellin, and well stay at Roewers. The beautiful hotel sits perfect by the main street of Sellin. The welcoming when we arrived was very nice, and they followed us to the room, helping us with our luggade - which gives a pleasant arrival to the hotel. The room is nicely set,... More

Ostsee - Rügen was on the list since years to be discovered and we picked Sellin for the amazing Seebrücke. Rather used to the typical see - promenade - big buildings and flat afterland structure, Rügen was quite a surprise with its hills ending often on the seaside, green pastures and large corn fields. And Roewers fitted completely in the... More

The gentleman at the reception was outstanding. He gets the award for the best service in German hospitality industry during the 21st century so far. We had one dinner... More

There are 3 or 4 stylish (beginning of the XX century) houses, perfectly renovated. Located near the main boulevard of Sellin, but with its own big garden and full serenity. Inside the garden there is a spa and wellness buildings, not very big but luxurious and quite sufficient as for this hotel. Breakfast is just standard as in 4 stars... More

Quaint and beautiful hotel on the island of Rugen in the baltic sea. 5 mansions from the turn of the century have been restored by the owner family into this truly beautiful hotel situarted in its own parc and facing the main Boulevard towards the beach front with the famous pier. The hotel features 3 Restaurants - funny thing was... More
