We stayed here on our Rhine cycle holiday and found it be a lovely hotel. We had very nice rooms, a good breakfast and secure storage for the bikes. If you are cycling however it is quite a cycle out of the town uphill. We also didn't want to walk into the town at night so the manager arranged a... More

This is the third hotel we have tried in Bad Saeckingen and it compares well with the other two. Parking was convenient and the welcome as we arrived was exceptionally friendly. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the shower excellent. The bed was nice and comfortable. The room was however a little small, with only just enough room... More

Seriously, I never saw a such poor service at this price. Unfortunately, there is no more room available for us in this area and we need two room for our work in this region. So, price for a double room 180€, for this, is that a joke ?! I'm travelling since many years for work and pleasure, all around the... More

My experiences include challenges for parking near hotels. I found this hotel to be easier for parking but of course the overall experience is most important. The hotel has front desk with limited hours. The person at reception did fine with English, but I was disappointed by the amount of time to do the check in paperwork. Rooms were small,... More

Staying at the St. Fridolin now as we move from Bad Säckingen back home to Helsinki. Needed 3 nights while the movers handle our household goods. Hotel is very good! Spotlessly clean with very friendly personnel. Breakfast room has nice selection. I recommend to all my friends and fellow travelers.

We stayed one night, but could happily have stayed longer. We arrived on a really bad rainy day in May, fortunately by car, because the hotel is some way fom the town. We wanted to eat and were recommended to go to the nearest Greek restaurant (Akropolis), and what a find that was, omly 10 minutes walk away. The hotel... More

Don't expect a charming B&B in a tourist city with loads of ambiance, stunning views or a spa experience. It is a "Hampton Inn" in Germany, designed for business and leisure travelers looking for a good stay at a fair price (especially considering the prices across the river in Switzerland!) The rooms are spotless and large by European standards with... More

Nice hotel, big and clean rooms, fair prices, a bit far from the city center, there is no staff 24 hours a day, and the wifi wasn't working well. breakfast is fair, service fine, only at the reception they speak English. The town is lovely, and possible to cross the river to Switzerland by a charming wood-bridge. Plenty activities and... More

Nice hotel in a nice town on the borders with Switzerland. We found all the accommodation we expected to find. Nothing more or less. One can easily visit cities and landmarks either in Germany or Switzerland by staying here. Very quiet and the personnel helpful. I could recommend it to all.

Nice and roomy. The hotel is suitable for the disabled and so the rooms are huge including the shower - you can play tennis in there :-). Great value and breakfast was delicious. Parking for free in front of the hotel. Very quiet place overall. Good for discovering Zurich and the Rheinfalls. It's much cheaper than the competition around those... More
