We just celebrated new year at this lovely hotel with my husband, and our one year old daughter. Location is wonderful , we did snow hiking at a beautiful path just right next to the hotel. The room was nothing special, but clean and spacious and well maintained, a very typical German hotel room. The food was great and the... More

This is a proper solution for the people that want relax in an active way. There are huge forests surrounding the hotel you take huge hiking tours. The environment is perfect the air is extremely fresh. The hotel building is made from old style carved wooden timber beams which provides a special atmosphere. The servise and food is good. The... The hotel, its location, the spa, the restaurant were all superb. We got soaked to the skin out on a walk and the hotel staff were kind enough to take all our clothes to their drying room overnight. When we got them back the following morning, they had even stuffed our trainers with newspaper. That's service beyond the call of... More

Very nice hotel, with good food, very friendly staff, and with some wonderful walks nearby.... we also had an excellent room.... the only small issues were all the treatments need booking in advance to ensure you actually get what you want, which isn't made clear, and I'm sorry I don't agree with dogs being allowed into restaurants.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere but is very relaxing which is part of the whole experience. The food is very good both dinner and breakfasts were superb. We found the staff extremely friendly, but sometimes the service was a bit slow. You need to make sure you book any treatments before you arrive as otherwise you might... More

As this was a 4 star hotel according to the Internet, we were a bit disappointed. The rooms are a best average, room cleaning service the same and the staff other than the young lady at breakfast was rather distant and to a degree rude. The Breakfast buffet was large but again average, no sign of a four star service... More

This is a hotel in the middle of the forest. You can start several walks from here. The diner is superb and the breakfast excessive. There are two rooms choices, the Elegance rooms are excellent, some other need a frech up. The personal and staff are very friendly. We visit the hotel about 5 or 6 times already, and will... More

My boyfriend and I have just returned from spending christmas in this hotel and we loved it! The hotel is a typical German wooden house and is very pretty, the photos on the website dont do it justice. The actual rooms are nothing special, but clean and well maintained. The indoor swimming pool looked great, but we were to busy... More
