I knew Le Clos du Lac would be a good choice based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Trip Advisor and Booking.com, but it is truly exceptional. Isabelle, the owner, is an interior decorator and, judging by the tasteful touches and high quality fixtures in each room, obviously a terrific one. Not only does she have excellent taste, but she... This is an excellent bed and breakfast guest house. More like a 5 star hotel it is furnished to the highest standard and spotlessly clean. Nespresso coffee machine which is a plus point with me! The views are stunning with floor to ceiling windows and a large balcony on each of the 4 rooms. The breakfast is also excellent with... More

I had the opportunity to visit Le Clos du Lac a month ago, during the Christmas season. Based on the pics available, I was certain that this would be a nice place, but nothing prepares you for the real thing! The location is superb, overlooking the lake of Annecy, and the hotel is a recently built, boutique-style little place with... More

This small and modern bed&breakfast is run with a lot of devotion by the owner, who lives next door. All units have their own balcony or terrace overlooking the Lac d'Annecy (the panoramic view could not be any better). The rooms are nicely furnished (each of them in a different style - the owner was an interior designer). The sleep... More

We simply loved just about everything of this little B&B. It was beautifully and tastefully decorated (we had the Asia room), spotlessly clean and very functional. (Only some little dust here and there, not enough to disturb me, even though I tend to be pretty demanding on cleaning.) There was a nice coffee machine and a fridge in the room,... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owner, Isabelle, is delightful and very easy to work with via email. You need a car to stay here. Because we don't drive stick shift, we rented a car in Lyon. From what I could tell, automatic transmissions are not available for rental cars in Annecy. On the positive side, because a car... More

My husband & I stayed here last week and were very happy with our choice. Very clean, great accommodations, beautifully decorated & gorgeous views. I have respiratory issues but had no problem going up 3 short flights to top for Riva suite. Other rooms are one floor down I believe. Would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. Thank you,... More

Okay we weren't certain if we should stay in Annecy itself or not and were so glad we chose to stay here. We had a car so parking was easy rather than worrying about paying for it staying in the town. Having said that we did work out it was easy to drive down toward Annecy park and walk along... More

Prices are high when you add delicious breakfast, but really worth it.The room we used was spotless, spacious, extremely well decorated, with attention to detail.Being over 60, I always enjoy comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. The view over the lake is outstanding. We will return.Congratulations to the owner who clearly loves the job!
