This place can't be trusted! We reserved a room in the beginning of March 2014, for August, for a family of 4. The owner sent us a picture of the proposed room - 'Tulipe'. Three weeks before our holiday we sent an email to confirm our arrival and the owner confirmed that everything was OK. However, when we arrived they... More

Of course and i don't really understant why the other 15 peoples was so happy they must be crazy or masochist to come in our house and laugh with some eat this heavy cooking and that's smelly you say me I will create a website to criticize the customers there is no reason that we are only a little easier... I just found the name of this B&B again and had to write a review so I would be able to recommend it! The farmhouse is everything you picture it to be. Huge, stone, rustic yet clean and comfortable, in the quiet countryside with geese roaming the fields. The owner is great and very hands on. The poor guy really... More

We found Sous L'olivier on TripAdvisor and could not have been happier with our stay. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, Julien's breakfast spreads were decadent with meat, cheese, homemade breads, homemade jams, yogurt, cereal, fresh squeezed orange juice etc. And dinners taken with the other guests......out of this world. If you are interested in a true cultural experience, this... More

A friend recommended this place to me and everything she said was true.... the only disappointment was that on one of my three nights Julian had the night off so only got to taste two of his amazing evening meals (some of the best food I've ever had).... such an amazing cook and the conversation around the dinner table was... The 18th C farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated providing rooms of character (and a gite next door), a variety of "eating locations" indoors and out and a good sized pool. Breakfast is taken in the enclosed quadrangle, under the sculpted canopy of a mulberry tree. Choosing between the huge array of local produce and speciality confitures and compotes prepared by... They stay at Sous L'Olivier was memorable on a number of levels. We stayed at the one room house on the courtyard of the old farmhouse. The farmhouse is located on Route D900 and the entrance from the highway is unimpressive. However, as soon as you enter the hall, you realize that food is a major component of life here.... More

We enjoyed our stay in this old farmhouse. When we were there they were harvesting pumpkins from the adjacent fields. We stayed in the Olive room, which was quite large with a private exterior entrance. We were disappointed that we had to go to the lobby/dining room to get wifi reception. There is no TV in the room. The level... More

My wife and I spent three nights as the guests of Julien and his wife, Carole. First, let me say that the accommodations were wonderful. For an eighteenth century farmhouse, we were never uncomfortable and our privacy was respected. Sous L'olivier is a prime location to explore Provence and the Luberon Valley, which we did with Juliens guidance. Now for... More

We returned for another week this September to stay at this charming B & B in Provence. It is the in perfect location for a group of artists to stay if they want to visit the most picturesque small towns and paint a bit while they are there. The B & B itself could not be more beautiful, comfortable and... More

We stayed for 3 days in August and what a great find this B&B was! Situated very handily for visiting some of Provence's nicest places but in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Our room was probably the smallest in the property but it was great for the 2 of us - very comfortable and well equipped with doors opening... More
