Fantastic hotel....the perfect balance of attentive service and great food in a casual setting. The garden setting and multiple dinning areas make La Bastide de Marie worth a return trip....over and over agin!

On a vacation filled with cities, this was a nice four day stay. The property is beautiful, with vineyards surrounding the bastide. The surrounding area is beautiful with small villages and wineries. Also, there is a great trail system very close by allowing for great runs or hikes in the forest. The rooms were quaint, and nice. Not lavish by... More

We recently spent 7 days on our 40th Annniversary at the Bastide and each day was a joy. The beds were great, so we slept like babies. We were well cared for by a wonderful staff led by the charming Mereil. Language issues were never a problem thanks to the assistance of multilingual and delightful, Cindy. The food was deserving... Been staying there for five years every June, always good, fantastic atmosphere and food and the 'lady of the house' extremely friendly and helpful. Could recommend it to everybody though not really children orientated. Day visits to local markets is not to be missed.

My husband and I stayed in the Bastide Room in this very romantic, beautiful place. It was all we could have hoped for. The hotel is central to all the villages of the Luberon and a perfect place to relax. It is tastefully decorated and very well run by the general manager, Merielle. We disagree totally with the person who... More

We thought it would be a bit the same as the previous Bastide we have been to, but already at the entrance we were disappointed. First you had to look for the reception, which was not obvious & the lady who is running the hotel is quit unfriendly. She is only friendly to people she knows. We booked a suite... More

I stayed here a few years ago and had a magical experience so upon my return to the area I came back. It is a special place - set among vineyards outside of the town of Menerbes. The rooms are tasteful, good sized and comfortable - fashioned in a classic but not cliche French style. The dining room and terrace... More

This is one the places I have really enjoyed staying in. Besides the hotel rooms, they have Villas to rent. Those are amazing for families. Everyday breakfast is served at your table inside or outside the Villa and in the afternoon they leave fruits, cake and whatever you ask for. It´s extremely clean and well taken care of, besides being... More

This is a little gem of a hotel in the middle of a Provence vineyard... slightly reminiscent of "A good Year" but without Russell Crowe. It is elegant, relaxed, unstuffy and extremely comfortable with a delightful eclectic mix of antique and contemporary. Open fire. Our traditional French Provencal bedroom overlooked the vineyard and the rows of vines, (it is a... More

This was the first place we stayed during our honeymoon. We loved it! It was so unique, romantic, scenic, and special. The service is excellent! We definitely recommend doing the all inclusive breakfast and dinner option, we went for dinner somewhere else one night and totally regretted it. The menu completely changes every day. Their winery/vineyards is right there and... More
