Once again, our annual trip to Charembeau, and once again, it fully lived up to our recollection from previous visits. A stunning location with views to Mt Lure and the Alps beyond. Forests and Pumpkin fields surround Charembeau, and there are plenty of nice walks and cycling routes. The hotel is a great place to get away from it all,... More

Breakfast is available at Charembeau for non-hotel guests at 14 euro per head and my wife and I have greatly enjoyed this treat on a number of occasions, however, booking is essential. On a warm sunny morning, sitting on the outside terrace is a delight and the breakfast excellent consisting of fresh fruit, juice, a selection of breads and croissants... More

I only wish we had more time at Charembeau! Our one night stay was perfection - the hotel has a very authentic feel: it is completely renovated and clean yet feels old and authentic. Reception staff is friendly and professional. The pool area is spacious and clean. Breakfast was fantastic food quality wise and setting wise - their terrace has... More

This was to be yet another B&B hotel in our long cycle ride through France but it turned out to be the most memorable stay of our whole trip. The rooms are fabulous, decorated to a high standard with wonderful bathroom facilities and all the little extras. The bed was comfortable and there was complete peace, ensuring a good night's... An unexpected and happy surprise! Pictures never do justice to reality. What a beautiful and peaceful haven! Perfect getaway from hectic traveling or work. Our room was large, comfortable, tucked away for privacy and a restful sleep. Beautiful views from our private patio where you can have your petit dejeuner or dejeuner..or you can join other guests on a large... More

We stayed here for the last 2 days of a walking holiday in Upper Provence. It was the perfect end to our holiday as the region was in the middle of a heatwave and this was our first accommodation with air conditioning and a swimming pool. Our room was delightful and the staff went out of their way to help... More

This is the most lovely, relaxed, yet highly professional place to stay. You get the personal touches only offered by the most thoughtful of hosts. Every one of our requests was met with a positive attitude that reflected Charembeau's commitment to service. The rooms are clean and comfortable and each is unique. The shower was amazing! The breakfast absolutely delicious.... More

This is a fine establishment in every way, a lovely country inn in a beautiful setting. The Berger family is friendly and helpful. In our case they mailed us an item we had carelessly left behind. There is a splendid pool which, like everything else is spotlessly maintained. Best of all: the prices are highly reasonable compared to comparable places... More

Great location, if you have a car. Lovely french house/hotel. in the countryside. We ate at a restaurant in the nearby village as the hotel wasn't providing evening meals. Buffet breakfast was provided however.
