Stayed at Hotel le Cap for two nights, Had to wait in the reception for ages before someone finally came to check us in, however, when they did come, they did welcome us and showed us to our room, which was nice. The room was very basic, we were put in the annex, as they called it, this was accessed... More

Overall a very pleasant stay. However, our room (which had very comfortable beds etc..) was too much overlooking the front entrance of the hotel provoking noise from restaurant eaters and people clearing away the tables until midnight. Perhaps at the back it was not so bad. The restaurant was not bad at all.. quality sea food and the overall welcome... More

The rooms are pretty basic but adequate and very reasonably priced in comparison to some others nearby. The restaurant is very good with predominantly seafood so we loved it. The location is ideal very close to the marina.

On a beautiful beach but the rooms were much too small for the money. We were originally placed around the side in an outside room (in the pouring rain) with a big puddle in front of it. When we asked to go into the main building because of the weather, we went up two flights of narrow stairs and were... More

A local treasure with an stellar restaurant. Our room was vastly superior to the room in the "three star" hotel that we had just come from in Paris. Our room overlooked the estuary and we could see and hear the surf from our open window. We look forward to going back.

Stayed for three days at this hotel last year and stopped off for a night on our way back to Cherbourg this time. Accommodation is quite compact but clean and comfortable with a good bed and shower. Still has that ' old French' charm. It is at the extreme end of the Quay and is quiet and picturesque and a... More

Booked a saturday night during a weekend away winter trip around the peninsular> Got a good RO rate via bookings.com on trip adavisor . The hotel bedrooms are on the small side but sea view over the estuary. Room newly decorated to a good standard . Very clean and compact en suite with power shower and plenty of hot water... More

We stumbled on this hotel when we were looking for an overnight stop in the area. The room we were given was on the small side but had a stunning view. We were advised that we would need to book a table if we wanted to eat there as it gets very full on a Saturday night, even out of... More

..... and not at one of the hotels farther inland, by the pleasure port - which smelled rather unpleasant at low tide. Good but somewhat hurried service at hotel and restaurant. Generous breakfast buffet. "Menu du Jour" a good value at the restaurant. Be sure to hike to the Semaphore for an amazing view of the ruins of the Vielle... More

A great little hotel, we had two sea facing rooms for our family, both had been tastefully decorated in a simple way and had views directly onto the harbour and distant beach. Lovely restaurant with excellent sea food, good breakfast room and lounge and a nice outdoor terrace. Breakfast a simple self service continental with lots of local products. The... More
