A fantastic gem of a place! beautiful and charming location close to the sea. Elegant decorated rooms with big bathrooms. Just loved to wake up next to the garden, and been served a fab brekfast out in the courtyard. We meet again next year. Big hugs from Nice . Hans Petter & Jan Einar

Excellent place to get energized! Nice and quiet with close proximity (10 minute walking distance) to a cozy French village. Nice area for hiking, running and bicycling. After a 40 minute taxi drive through exciting landscape, you can enjoy a well designed lunch along with tasty wine from the small and lovely vineyard, Chateu de Jau. Another 40 minute drive... More

This is a beautiful small boutique hotel expertly and seamlessly managed and run by Mario and his small team. It's a restored and converted farm building(s) in the Mediterranean style and set on the outskirts of the charming town of Thuir, surrounded by vineyards and fruit plantations. It is tres peaceful and relaxing. The pool is tucked away from the... More

What a find! This was our 4th trip to the Languedoc-Roussillon region and we were overjoyed to find this little oasis and the excellent Mario and his staff. Mario is a cosmopolitan, multi-lingual, service-provider, par excellence! La Fauvelle has the benefit of being inland (so off the heavy tourist track), but located perfectly for coastal, mountain and city day trips.... More

A group of 6 friends stayed here while attending a nearby retreat. We could not have been happier! The environment is beautiful, well kept and peaceful. The rooms are "hospital clean" with comfortable, modern decor. Beds are supremely comfortable, having firm, supportive mattresses. Internet is fast and reliable. Breakfast is varied, fortifying and delicious. Touches of beauty dot the property:... More

Friends and I were in the area for a wedding in Passa. We stayed at La Fauvelle with another couple and we had a really great time. Mario was a wonderful host, always helpful and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful, the wild blackberries are delicious and the atmosphere is quite peaceful. The rooms are modestly appointed but theres nothing that... More

We had 10 wonderful days at La Fauvelle again. This was our third visit. The place and Mr La Fauvelle himself, Mario, did it again. We were 9 persons at most and we all left with plans to visit Mario and La Fauvelle in the future. La Fauvelle is a small hotel with an excellent atmosphere and a nice friendly... More

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for a wedding in the local area. Beautiful hotel grounds in the stunning area of Thuir. Rooms spacious and clean with large shower room. Breakfast continental, croissants and bread, but also offered eggs and bacon, fruit and yoghurt. Wasps a bit of a pain due to time of year as breakfast served outside.... More

La Fauvelle is a special place. It felt welcoming as soon as we turned into the drive. Mario, the manager of this excellent accommodation made us feel very welcome and showed us to our spacious rooms (the single room equally so); clean with relaxing décor and green views. Water temperature, quality and cleanliness of outdoor pool perfect. Dining area allows... More

I spent last week at La Favelle with my OH and sister in law and I'd certainly recommend it. The driveway and first view of La Favelle is impressive and tranquil. We received a warm welcome from Mario who showed us to our rooms. Our en suite rooms had patio doors onto the grounds, they were spacious & clean with... More
