Patrick and Kate are the most hospitable of hosts in their lovely house in the centre of the peaceful and attractive small town of Laure-Minervois. With a shared passion for art and books they are lively, interesting and very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, with everything you need for a restful night's... More

Kate and Patrick are the most wonderful and welcoming hosts and we loved every minute of our week-long stay. My wife and I took the gite, which was delightful, and enjoyed a marvellous holiday. If you want to explore this beautiful and fascinating region Les Mimosas is an ideal base from which to do it.

My wife and I stayed at Les Mimosas in the summer of 2012. We found the owners Patrick and Kate freindly and keen to please. The accomadation is very good and the provincial french cooking excellent. If you want a quiet very convenient base, then you should consider this one. We shall certainly return when we are in the area... More

My wife and I first encountered Les Minosas in 2003 and we must have visited and stayed there with the most genial and caring of hosts on about twelve occasions in the following years. We took the really well-appointed gite for New Year one winter to share with my sister and her husband from Houston, Texas, and regularly passed our... More

What more can you ask than lovely bedrooms, in a great village location and the most amazing cooking delivered with wine and good company. We have stayed with Patrick and Kate a number of times over the last few years and it's never failed to deliver a fantastic holiday experience. They have lots of info on the surrounding area and... I've stayed with Kate & Patrick several times over the past few years (on holiday and while looking for a house in the area). They are really great people, their house is very comfortable, they take really good care of their guests and Kate's cooking is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the house and the hosts.... More

We travelled down to Laure-Minervois by motorbike after recommendation by a friend, and couldn't have been happier. The Gite had plenty of room with a gorgeous bedroom and a huge kitchen. The parking was very secure and it was the perfect base for exploring the area, with unforgettable trips to Carcassonne, the Pyrenees and empty Mediterranean beaches. Patrick and Kate... More

In the heart of a medieval Languedoc village, this bed and breakfast has very comfortable and nicely decorated en-suite rooms. It’s very good value and if you decide to eat there in the evening you won’t be disappointed – Kate is a brilliant cook. She and Patrick, the anglo-scots owners, are full of helpful local information. The house is within... More
