We stayed here for 3 nights in September. The owners are very kind, and we managed to communicate between our limited french and their slightly better english. Jean-Louis was very helpful in making a dinner reservation which we would not have been able to do on our own! The place is very clean and well appointed. We had a ground... More

This lovely B &B was a cute small house with two bedroom and two bathrooms with small kitchen and fireplace. We stayed for one night at the end of August. It was perfect location for visiting some of the Loire Valley's famous chateaus. The owner set up a lovely breakfast for us at a preset time on the table in... More

We spent two nights at this charming countryside B and B just minutes from Cheverny castle. We stayed in the upstairs room which was immaculate and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts Martine and Jean-Louis speak good English and were extremely helpful with dinner recommendations. The common room is comfortable. Wifi available. Would definitely recommend.

We spent one night at La Rabouillere and really enjoyed it. This place has got lots of charme and is located far away from anything in the beautiful countryside, but still just about 20 mins away from Chevergny Castle. The room was beautiful and clean. We especially loved the fireplace and the common space. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts are... More

I've stayed twice at La Rabouillere and thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Between the lovely fermette to the white and gray free range chickens and the quiet, not to forget the wonderful breakfast included...this is the place to stay. The host and hostess are helpful and non-imposing. You can buy a glass or bottle of wine to sip in front of... More

We stayed in the house at La Rabouillere which was very pleasant. The setting between farmland and forest is lovely. The location is excellent for touring the eastern Chateaux. The hosts could not have been any warmer or more charming and helped us with dinner reservations and touring suggestions, and even a nip of their beautiful home-made aperitif. The common... More

We stayed for 2 nights in Domaine de la Rabouillere just a few kilometers from the Cheverny castle. The house is designed as local country side building. The room was equipped with all required including heating. The owners - very nice couple are speaking English, they will also serve the continental breakfast and will assist with the explanations, suggest castles... More

Our family of 4 (with 2 young children aged 6 and 2) rented the cottage for 5 days. M. and Madame Thimonnier were very pleasant hosts. They speak a little English and together with our elementary French, we could manage most conversations. Breakfast was included in the rental (we paid EUR 160/night) and while it was basic (croissants, baguette, juice,... More

I have visited La Rabouillère many times on my way from the Provence to Ireland via Roscoff.. It is beautiful located on a big terrain with trees, very quiet. The parking area is big, very convenient for me, as I travel with a long trailer ( 8 meter).< Tthe reception is very pleasant. The rooms are are well taken care... More
