My husband and I intended to spend one week of our honeymoon here in October. From outside the place looks gorgeous, but as soon as you enter the chateau you see and feel the signs of decay: The place is very old and damp and there just isn't enough money seemingly, to renovate it and put it into a condition... more

My husband and I got married a year ago and came to France on a 1 week adventure/second honeymoon. Pros- The chateau was by far the most interesting lodging we had on our trip. I'm very glad we stayed here. The grounds and the chateau are beautiful. It is well worth it to make reservations at the restaurant: Maison d'Helene.... more

The place is extremely peaceful, the room (only 5 in the whole place) are huge and gracious. The place is... more

We have just returned from staying at this hotel. It has a lovely authentic feel about it although the rooms are not at all modern and new. We were there with the family and really enjoyed rowing on the lake in their little boat. There seem to be plenty of activities available and it is a very casual place. We... more

Wow. Almost reluctant to write. This is such a great place it should remain a secret! Make sure you give yourself time to just enjoy being at this place - rowing on the lake or cycling around the grounds. Absolute heaven. more

Great gem..
