We stopped off for the last night of out honeymoon in June 09 after getting married in Italy and loved this place, which I found on tripadvisor. Tobias and Marco are lovely and they have decorated this fab and unusual house beautifully and put so much thought into everything they do at Les Roches. Luckily, our stay was a Saturday... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in September and enjoyed ourselves. The first night we were in the "Les Roches" room but the larger "Enchanting View" became available for the next night, so we moved. "Enchanting View" is slightly more expensive but well worth the money because of the space and the nice balcony. We decided to... more

We (2 couples) stayed in the gardeners cottage at this wonderful place. We are normally not very keen on self catering holidays but with the option of having breakfast in the chateau we did give it a go and really liked our stay here. We stayed in a room of the chateau on a previous trip and asked to see... more

This place was straight out of a storybook. Towers, turrents, gingerbread detail. Built by a wealthy Parisian for his mistress in the 19th century, this amazing house is a great place for romance and couples getaway. We had our kids and grandma with us, and we all enjoyed our stay. Great ambience, nice hosts, awesome food (spring for the 4-course... more

We stayed at Les Roches for a few nights last year and we loved it. We booked the room there after reading all of the reviews here and we were definitely not disappointed. We were interested in a romantic holiday for the two of us and this hotel was perfect. When we were staying there, it seemed like there was... more

We first stayed at Les Roches in 2005 and have averaged 4 nights per year ever since. What draws us back? Well, attention to detail in looking after guests is the prime reason. Touches like fresh fruit that one is encouraged to partake of, welcoming coffee and cake and a suprise chocolate mouse that appeared when my wife mentioned that... more

We all fell under the charm of this stylish country manoir. Slightly off the beaten track, it is still well positioned for visiting the Burgundy region by car. The view of the lush green countryside from the terrace is spellbinding. Our hosts, Tobias and Marco are discrete but attentive. Their good taste and attention to detail were evident as Marco... more

If you want a place near the vineyards, but still in the countryside, this is the one. You will need a vehicle to get around, but Tobias and Marco will help you map out your days to make the most of the area. We had a meal cooked for us by Marco and it was wonderful. Breakfast too was great.... more

We came with high expectations, having read previous reviews of this place and were a little disappointed at first.. We had also just spent a few days at the truly outstanding Chateau des Ormeaux in the Loire Valley, which may have colored our initial impressions of Chateau Les Roches. I am glad that we were here for 4 days, and... more
