We stayed here for two nights, as part of a VBT biking tour. It is an old mansion, with lots of character. The room was comfortable and the bathroom very nice. Fortunately, the weather was not too hot and there was a fan in the room, as our room had only a small window. Breakfast was tasty, with a wide... More

This hotel is part of the Schloss Hotels or historic Mansion/Castle Hotels. A great experience. Stayed here with our VBT cycling group. Beautifully appointed rooms with antiques, beds comfortable, breakfast ample and healthy. We loved the cave bar where by honour system you serve yourself from the fridge. Our group had a great time! Great Austrian wines and beers. Hotel... More

What a lovely property! No, it doesn't have an elevator and if you need one, stay somewhere else. This place has charm and beauty to spare. The rooms were neatly appointed, the honor bar a wonderful meeting place, and the breakfasts were as ample as one could ask for. The fresh croissants were enough to make me come back to... More

We were here in October and enjoyed mostly good weather. We like to stay at small hotels like this because the rooms are all different and the town is small. This town is great for day trips to Melk, Durnstein, Krems, and other small towns on the Danube. Our room overlooked the Danube. There is no elevator but the stairs... More

had a nice stay in early October. Location, atmosphere, breakfast and self-service bar all fine. Yes, bathroom was a bit small, but so what!? Spotlessly clean and everything worked well!! Room was comfortable. Good restaurants nearby. Will stay again!!

This hotel is not a cookie cutter property. We stayed in an upper floor (lots of steps) which was not an issue for us. But, even if you are located on the first floor, there are steps to get there. This is a beautifully renovated place but one that still maintains the charm of its heritage. The property dates from... More

Relaxing location in the Austrian countryside. Confortable and spacious rooms with small bathrooms. Lacking an elevator is a huge disadvantage for the hotel. Reception closing time is only shown with a sign on the desk, all written in German. Breakfast is a bit too poor but sufficient.

We like to inform you, that our hotel, built 1574!! is under austrian monument conservation, therefore it isn´t allowed to build an elevator! By the way, your room was situated on the first floor! Same level as Rezeption and the Breakfast Rooms! By the check-in you got explained in english that we are closing the main doors at 10.00pm. But... More

This is only a bed and breakfast place and has not got the services of a Hotel, and as such is expensive for what it is. We stayed here for a week in a suite which was nice and spacious but quite ordinary. We too thought the breakfast was poor. It was very simple and not very imaginatively laid out,... More

Hotel is located in the heart of Wachau region - home for the best Gruner Veltliner in the world. It is very well preserved historical building from 1574. Entering the hotel you immediately feel like in the mediaval times, staff is treating you like a special guest. Rooms are clean, there is wonderful garden and sauna. You can use hotel... More

We stayed here for a night while visiting the Wachau valley and we found it superb. Weissenkirchen is a beautiful village with some fantastic wineries and Renaissancehotel Raffelsbergerhof was a top place to stay. Rooms are clean and offer nice views. Breakfast wasnt as great as other places we stayed in Austria, but it was still good. The staff are... More
