had a nice stay in early October. Location, atmosphere, breakfast and self-service bar all fine. Yes, bathroom was a bit small, but so what!? Spotlessly clean and everything worked well!! Room was comfortable. Good restaurants nearby. Will stay again!!

This hotel is not a cookie cutter property. We stayed in an upper floor (lots of steps) which was not an issue for us. But, even if you are located on the first floor, there are steps to get there. This is a beautifully renovated place but one that still maintains the charm of its heritage. The property dates from... More

Relaxing location in the Austrian countryside. Confortable and spacious rooms with small bathrooms. Lacking an elevator is a huge disadvantage for the hotel. Reception closing time is only shown with a sign on the desk, all written in German. Breakfast is a bit too poor but sufficient.

We like to inform you, that our hotel, built 1574!! is under austrian monument conservation, therefore it isn´t allowed to build an elevator! By the way, your room was situated on the first floor! Same level as Rezeption and the Breakfast Rooms! By the check-in you got explained in english that we are closing the main doors at 10.00pm. But... More

This is only a bed and breakfast place and has not got the services of a Hotel, and as such is expensive for what it is. We stayed here for a week in a suite which was nice and spacious but quite ordinary. We too thought the breakfast was poor. It was very simple and not very imaginatively laid out,... More

Hotel is located in the heart of Wachau region - home for the best Gruner Veltliner in the world. It is very well preserved historical building from 1574. Entering the hotel you immediately feel like in the mediaval times, staff is treating you like a special guest. Rooms are clean, there is wonderful garden and sauna. You can use hotel... More

We stayed here for a night while visiting the Wachau valley and we found it superb. Weissenkirchen is a beautiful village with some fantastic wineries and Renaissancehotel Raffelsbergerhof was a top place to stay. Rooms are clean and offer nice views. Breakfast wasnt as great as other places we stayed in Austria, but it was still good. The staff are... More

Located in the southern part of a small town lie a small jewel called a hotel. It is elegant, owners are friendly and really helpful (we did need an assistant to get a doctor and they were most willing to help it out). There are no standard rooms in this hotel as everyone is unique. Really worth to try it!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is very quiet, peaceful, and quaint. The owners are always around along with there friendly dog. There is a wonderful lounge that is comfortable and has wine and beer that is taken through the honor system. It is in a beautiful village with cobblestone streets that is great to walk around in. We... More

Just returned from a one night stay at the Raffelsberger Hof. If you are looking for an old world, regal Austrian experience, this is the place to choose. We stayed in the spacious two room Federspiel Suite, not only spotless clean with all comfort of a boutique hotel, but in the morning when you open the window, the view is... More

Great location to know the wine region in Austria. This hotel is quiet, elegant, romantic and comfortable. We love it and recommend it to anyone who wants to know Wachau and have an enjoyable stay. The hotel is located in Weissenkirchen, a very nice village with good restaurants.
