We were delighted by the quaint but centrally located hotel. Room was well appointed, and the staff was efficient and welcoming. The owners too were very helpful. We had a room on the third floor... No worries, because someone will carry your luggage up for you. Our room faced the Danube, and there was little courtyard to enjoy after a... More

Having booked well in advance, we were given a room in the "dependence" a couple of walking minutes away; maybe one does not get a room in the main building for just one night. Our room was small but nice in a well restored antique building - just what you are looking for in the Wachau albeit not 100% clean.... More

Wonderful find, what a surprise to have such a friendly, well appointed small hotel in a delightful old village. The staff and town people were very friendly, most spoke English very well but all were willing to try. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. The rooms were well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Our only regret is we didn't come here... More

Wonderful Hearty Meal & the service was the best we've seen in a week of traveling in Europe! the outside patio was a lovely place for dinner & they have plenty of parking if you need it which is hard to come by.

We enjoyed both the restaurant (seating both inside and out in a nice covered area) and a room here. The wine choices from local vineyards was wonderful, the apricot knodle terrific, and the breakfast choices diverse. One night when we dined elsewhere but returned to the hotel for the apricot knodle, I asked for a glass of Gruner Vertliner but... More

A beautiful, family-run hotel with a very welcoming atmosphere, great breakfast buffet, helpful staff and old wonderful buildings. The beautiful environment of Weissenkirchen with its vinyards and flowers along the Danube river make up for a perfect romantic weekend. Try the restaurant of the hotel and their apricot delicacies! Best to visit in spring or early autumn.

Receptionist very friendly (it should always be the case but it is not obvious) hotel, recently renovated, classic tile. The restaurant is great, we have not visited the SPA with indoor pool. The area is touristy but less well known than other places even more prestigious but it seems he did not miss anything (maybe just the name). The hotel... More

We so enjoyed every aspect of this hotel while we hiked the Danube Path. We had not originally planned on staying but after a super lunch at the in-house restaurant, decided we couldn't pass up an overnight here. Our first floor room overlooked the valley and Danube. Bright, clean, and roomy, it was well furnished and afforded good storage. The... More

This small, traditional family hotel is fine and cosy. The location in the centre of Weissenkirchen, nice stylish rooms with spacious bathroom, in third floor great views and family atmosphere. The staff is highly professional, but maximaly friendly, simply lovely – thank you again. Restaurant is perfect, there are used local and seasonal fresh products, my fish for lunch was... More

Nice hotel with decent restaurant. Friendly wellcome. Three different price categories for the rooms in the main building. Main difference is size of the room and "age" of the rooms. Hotels in the Wachau area are relatively expensive (Danube valley is a popular tourist attraction). Excellent breakfast. Located in quiet street close to the centre of the small village. Convenient... More
