We had to stop over in Chumphon on our way back to Bangkok. Great value, nice pool, good restaurant/coffee shop (have a strawberry milkshake). Rooms are basic but that is expected for the price. Our room had a good shower & a wall mounted TV with 70+ channels (including English football). Staff are friendly and there is a nice ginger... More

...To be in Thailand and be greeted with a smile. Be informed of the best spots to visit and how. To go the extra mile and finding a place to rent a scooter ( although mainly they rent bikes with gears so quite tricky to find but they did) and the list goes on. This hotel was amazing. We stayed... More

Exactly as the title says, great value for money basic accommodation a little way from the main highway. Not easy to find as the signage is small and in Thai. The beds are a little hard and the linen cheap but it was fie for our needs. We have stayed three times already.

For the price we paid, you can't really complain. However, our room was unfinished, the walls had been plastered but not painted and due to this there was mould in the shower. The facilities were fine, nice pool. The staff were distant and much less friendly than the other places we stayed in Thailand, but if you approached them they... More

A little stop over gem. Room is absolutely huge (we actualy preferred a room to one of their bungalows which for some reason are more expensive), furnished balcony. Swimming pool looks nice although haven't used (it does seem to have been built to provide maximum shade) and the staff are really quite lovely. as a previous reviewer said, at the... More

I really do like this hotel since there is not many to choose from in this city. Resort is newly build, spacious rooms, good value for money, clean and quiet and ozon clean swimming pool.Breakfast at chacha cafe is really crap. SKIP the breakfast or don't buy a coupon at all. It's not worth it. It's much better to just... More

From the top it always amazes me that folks right negative reviews when they pay so little for a room - are you really expecting a 5 Star resort when you pay less than $30 a night? This little hotel is amazing for the price you pay. Very new, modern, extremely large, sparkling clean rooms for a pittance. Very comfortable... More

The first challenge is finding this hotel but with a liitle local help we finally located it. As it was a one night stop over on our way to Hua Hin we only wanted an inexpensive hotel. That is what we got with no facilities other than a swimming pool. It was clean and very basic and you can find... More

We stayed at Chalicha for a night before catching the Lomrayah ferry to Koh Tao. What a gorgeous little resort. I was very suprised at just how lovely it was. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and they even organised transport and ferry tickets for us. Breakfast wasn't anything flash but enough to keep you going. I would highly... More

We stayed overnight before taking a ferry to Koh Tao in the morning.Chumphon is not a very appealing town so we were glad to only be there a short while. The hotel staff were attentive and helped us with a taxi into town. The room was large with one wall decorated in a lime green paint. The other walls and the bathroom were...
