On our way to Koh Tao we’ve stayed one night at Tanisa Resort. Upon arrival something seemed to be wrong with our reservation but that was no problem at Tanisa Resort, the very friendly staff directly offered an upgrade to a new build superior room with amazing interior architecture. At night dinner at the Tanisa restaurant was good but beware... More

It was pretty quiet when we stayed. It was a stop over whilst waiting for our train journey back to Bangkok. The rooms are very large with a marvellous stone bath. The swimming pool was great and the food was fairly good although very hot. I think it's a typical Thai holiday place hence the very (chilli) hot food. The... More

Honestly I don't know why this place get so many excellent reviews. We stayed for one night on our way to Koh Tao and found it very convenient for the purpose. The rooms are really nice. The pool is OK. The food in the restaurant was OK, too. So yes it is fine. And that's about it. Except for the... More

We were only here for a night on our way to Koh Tao but it was great. Reception staff were so helpful, they organised our transfer to the ferry terminal and even sent us on our way with breakfast which was so sweet! We had time in the afternoon to chill out in their lovely pool, we also used the... More

I was in Chumphon for only 9 hours as part of an overnight stopover on my way from Bangkok to Koh Tao. Tanisa Resorts was everything I could have asked for -- clean, spacious, quiet with a friendly staff who even packaged up my included breakfast togo since I had to catch a morning shuttle at 5:30 am.

We stayed at Tanisa while traveling to Koh Tao and on the return to Bangkok. While booking, Mr. Sood was very helpful and helped us put all arrangements for this leg of our journey in place - from booking the room to transfers from the airport, and the ferry to Koh Tao. The room at Tanisa was spacious, clean and... More

Arrived at 11pm and left at half 5 so we didn't get to experience it in full. The receptionist gave us a warm welcome and showed us our room. She also booked us a minivan to get our bus and boat for the next morning. The room was lovely and very spacious, directly opposite the pool. Just a pity we... More

After spending a few days on Koh Phi Phi, we picked up a car in Phuket to drive north to Hua Hin where we would then catch the train into Bangkok. We were looking for a place to stay the night, as the drive from Phuket to Hua Hin is about 9 hours. Chumpon was right on the middle of... More

We travelled down from Bangkok and stayed here before getting a ferry to Ko Tao the following day. The location was fine, although a bike ride away from the main town (although you can eat at the resort, we just wanted to get out and explore as had got there quite early). The rooms have good facilities and are clean... More

I stayed here for two nights in between spending a week in Koh Samui, on my way to visiting friends in Hua Hin for one week. There's something about this place I really liked, and I would like to stay here again. The people at Tanisa were friendly and helpful, not much English was spoken, but that's OK. All I... More
