Excellent 3 star rooms which are 2 star because they lack a couple of things such as a fridge. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there is the nice bonus of free water in the hallway, hot and cold. Our only issue was that the first room stank of raw sewage, so I refused it. The second room was... More

I had a plan to stay there for couple of days not until I experienced a bad service. I called the housekeeeping many times for water, but they never answered. I asked one of the staffs where I can get water and he told me there's a water dispenser over there but when I got there, it was empty. It... More

The location is perfect because it's near the restaurants and mAlls. The room is okay. I got the standard room. The lighting is a bit dark for me and the aircon takes time for it to cool. The shower area in the bathroom is a bit small. The price is ok

Good location. Nice and clean. Reasonably good service. If you're staying in Dumaguete and want to be close to everything in town, this is your best choice. We had the massive Executive Deluxe room with a refrigerator, big TV, WiFi, a/c, etc. for around $50 a night, so a good value. The only thing the room lacked was a safe,... More

We booked two rooms at Hotel Nicanor, and this hotel was a pleasant find. It is nestled right in the heart of the city, shares the same building as Cafe Laguna, and is literally a stone's throw away from the pharmacy, Lee Plaza, and many food joints. Jollibee and Chowking across operate 24/7, so we did not get the chance... More

Though my title already says a lot, I believe that the location is just one of the good things about this hotel. The hotel is located near the boulevard and the San Rival Bistro. Everything is within reach - restaurants, malls, drugstores. You will not need to ride a tricycle to withdraw some cash or buy some groceries. There are... More

Stayed for 2 nights 3 days with my best pals. Hotel is cozy with very fresh and super white towels. Location is good just a walking distance to shopping centers and local street food. What's best - it is just a walking distance to their famous Sylvanas owned by Sans Rival Cakes and Pastries and just a few minutes drive... More

First impressions of dumagette are that its a pretty typical Philippines city town. The Nicanor is a small walk from the main port (about 600 metres South) and has a central location. On the walk down, observations are that there's no beach to speak of (later we find a very average beach North of the port if you are desperate,... More

We stayed there all together for more than 2 weeks this year. The hotel was very flexible with bookings on short notice, and also with bookings (and cancellations) of extra rooms on short notice for friends and family who visited us. The hotel is fairly new and rooms are of good quality. Shower has instant water heater and gives fairly... More
