We stayed here for 4 nights in january 2015. Good things: Really polite and helpfull staff who are smiling all the time. They speak good english. To our opinion location was also nice. Rooms were clean and everything was working. Bad things: Restaurant of Palwa Hotel is expensive.

This is one of those classy places where they make you pay for everything. Extra sheet/blanket because the one we provide is as thin as tracing paper and our aircon is set to freezing - that'll be 50 pesos? Extra pillow to help you stop your 2 year old falling out of the bed? 50 pesos. If you've stayed in... More

Dated rooms with ugly colors in mint green. Small bathroom and non exsisting view in the middle of Dumaguete noicy sentrum. Noicy aircondition. Small cafe like restaurant with limited breakfast menu served on plate. Ekstra pay for coffe! Proberly ok for people coming from the provinces but for experienced trawelers, choose another hotell!

This Hotel is located in the town centre. My room was clean, quiet big and with mountain view. There is no safe in the room but you can use a safety box behind the front desk. There is also a flat screen TV which provides plenty of english channels. The AC was a little bit loud. There is an ensuite... More

Located in the center of town, rooms are descent size, clean, nice selection of TV channels, and wifi in your room. There is no drinking or smoking allowed in your room, and 15 house rules are posted in the room. Reception was not rude but never really made you feel welcomed. Never once did I ever see them smile. Housekeeping... More

Got stuck in Dumaguete due to a tropical storm and decided to stay in center of town closer to ferry terminal, ended up at Hotel Palwa for 999 per night, double occupancy. Location puts you right in the middle of the city, depending on what you are looking for can be good or bad...but nice to be able to walk... More

Solid budget hotel at price range 1000 peso. Clean, fast wifi throughout, good tv channels, everything just ok. Reminds me of a travelodge back in Europe. I'm not normally fussy about staff but found them to be quite rude and unhelpful. I didn't feel welcome in the hotel at all. Apart from the two security men that is. Location is... More

This hotel is not set up for the dog but its a dog friendly hotel. Upon check in you have to let them know that dog stay with you. Your dog must behave and not bark! You have to bring your own beddings for your dog i.e. Bed, comforter and pillow. Hotel is close to central market, 3 blocks to... More

Kinda get the feeling this is a Muslim owned hotel......no alcohol or visitors !!! But if that doesn't affect you, then stay here. Great location in the heart of the city. Easy walking to anywhere in the city and the seafront. Helpful staff and good wifi. Top place.

We stayed at this hotel for one day only yet our night was absolutley perfect... The triple room they have was soooo wide for four persons since we added one extra bed... The room was very clean and their comfort room was very nice... AC was just ok... The attendant, when we had our breakfast was very accomodating... I would... More
