Very comfortable rooms at this hotel. Plenty of choice of pillows !! Staff very accommodating but had to wait 20 mins at 5.30am to check out as Receptionist was checking people in. Food - breakfast and room service was excellent.

Nothing special but good, good enough for business travellers. Building and rooms lack style but have all you need. Breakfast could be more 'interesting' (since I normally expect something pleasant for breakfast, and in here, breakfast is boring, but sufficient). Rates could have been lower, but one have to consider the fact that Atyrau is occupied by oil industry people.

I stay in this hotel for two weeks every month. Very friendly staff who remember your favourite tipple! OK food - very comfy beds. A home from home in a difficult town to find comfort in.

The Renaissance is a nice hotel, one of the better ones when visiting Atyrau. Staff are pleasant and attentive. Breakfasts are good with plenty of variety. I have stayed in this hotel many times and recommend this hotel for any kind of trip. The rooms are clean, service is world class, well kept bar and restaurant. You have free wi fi access in the lobby which is very big.

I suppose that you could say that for Atyrau standards this may be classed 5 Star, but I feel that Marriott have lowered their standards somewhat here.
