My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to a few romantic nights here. (We had just spent 19 nights camping - 1/2 the time in the rain) We arrived with high hopes given the high Trip Advisor rating and location: RIGHT on the beach with all bungalows overlooking a white sand beach and the ocean. After grabbing dinner at... More

We stayed at Domokuchu Beach Bungalow late January 2014. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. It is truly a small piece of paradise. Away from all the noise of Stone Town on the East coast you are situated on a small ribbon of white sand. There is not much... More

It was better than what you get to see in the pictures. The place is paradise, it has it's own private beach. You get to wake up and see sunrise from your bed, the views of every room are amazing. I got to stay in 2 different rooms, one with an outdoor bathroom (which I thought was pretty cool) and... More

We stayed there for 2 weeks in January and we defenitely can recommend the place. We stayed in a standard banda- it was not very luxury but for us it was perfect. It was clean and calm. Every morning you get your breakfast in front of your banda (fruit &eggs). Everyday they clean your room. The view from the balcony... More

We booked 9 nights over Christmas and New Year. After 5 nights we moved on to another location as 4 out of the 5 days we had no electricity and also were unable to take a shower as the water pump requires electricity...... There are better places with the same view and also a generator to compensate for the loss... More

We are very sorry for your negative experience. The East Coast of Zanzibar experienced power fluctuations and some power cuts for a period of 36 hrs due to damage to a main line. During that time the pressure pump used to pump water to our Standard Bungalows was unusable. This resulted in a low pressure water supply and we did... More

I had a wonderful stay of 2 nights in a beach bungalow. I really enjoyed it because the magnificent views over the sea all day long, the most friendliest staff I have ever met, the quiet location in exotic Zanzibar. Special thanks to Shebi and his lovely little daughters for making my stay feeling like home!

We spent there 16 days(our honeymoon) and it was a really nice experience..it is a private part of the beach but it's far from any restaurant except of one.also that part was full of seaweeds and it was't possible to swim over there.furthermore there is nothing to do after 6.00 pm as it is not safe for tourists to walk... The best place ever to disappear from civilization on the beach. Good, romantic place, will visit it again though there are many alternatives in the world.. This is a real paradise we could ever imagine. 10 unforgettable days.. Recommended for everyone.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in that bungalows few weeks ago, all the bungalows have a sea view. we were in the first line in front of the sea, the bungalows were big and had a fan (that was enough for the weather) and a kettle. they don't have pool but in every hotel next to it you can swim...
