Firstly, let me say that this place absolutely met all my expectations. I was looking for a quiet place in close distance to the centre of Paje, with "private" beach and intimate atmosphere. Bungalows are situated in dead end of south Paje beach, after that there is a rock and nothing more (just road to Jambiani). But you still stay... More

Domokuchu is AMAZING. The bungalows are great. The staff is like a family and the cooperation with Bausinga's restaurant couldn't be any better. We had 2 nights in the standard bungalows a bit up the hill and moved later into the luxury bungalows just behind the dunes. The little breakfast gets derved every morning on your private terrace. It contains... More

Thank you so much for this awesome kind review! I have shared with the staff and everyone feels delighted that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated them! Your review made us all smile as it captures the excitement that we all feel towards Paje, the beach and our quiet corner of paradise at Domokuchu. We are planning some great changes... More

This is a sweet, sweet place. With a real family feel, owners Shebi and Zoe take care of you from the get go. Wake up when you like and get a personally delivered breakfast to your bungalow. The secluded bungalows are the perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle of the beach strip, this cute getaway is highly recommended... More

Domokuchu was the only accommodation in Paje to answer an urgent phone call from a rather distressed human being in Stone Town seeking immediate hospitality. And as my stay progressed seemingly the only accommodation that packed enough punch to make me want more. A coastal hop, skip and jump from the main Paje beach, Domokuchu was both tranquil and attractive.... More

we have just got back from a week at Domokuchu and have nothing but happy memories - its a wonderful place - a real gem on the Zanzibar coastline. Having been to Zanzibar several times now, I feel like ive seen enough other places to be able to say this with some certainty! Zoe and Shebi, the owners, were fantastic... More

I really liked the place for not being in the crowded Paje village (25 minutes walking) and the bungalows all have an awesome view over the lagoon - the cheapest ones on top of the hill even have the best views ! Breakfast is simple and lacks fruit juice and something like home-made cake. If you're fine with the idea... More

My Girl friend and I stayed here for 4 nights from 27th Feb 2014 to 3rd March 2014. A great place for couples to just relax and take in the sights of the beautiful azure ocean and white sands right on your doorstep. Comfortable bungalow with a refreshing prevailing wind. Downside is the lack of a restaurant but the place... More

My friend and I stayed in Domokuchu beach bungalows for 6 nights and I could possibly say it was the most relaxing and amazing 6days I've ever spent anywhere.. 45-50minute drive from Znz airport it was a real treat..the staff are so friendly. On arrival we were greeted and showed around our area, then the owner 'Shebi' met us and... More

You have your own bungalow facing the ocean, they serve you your breakfast on your own terrace, you've got the self service beverage cooler and you get peace of mind. Turn off your mobile and not even 007 will find you. Go down on the beach and just ask, they'll get you a coconut from the tree, stroll around, and... More

This was a great value find. We had planned to stay in the middle of Paje but this place was at the end of the beach and more peaceful without kite surfers leaping around on the water. Once we saw it we had to stay. Our Superior room was a proper nicely built private Bungalow looking straight out onto the... More
