Before arriving we were in touch with the owner via email. We wanted to arrange an airport pickup-service what they had offered us before. Unfortunately she didn't confirm until our arriving at 05:00 a.m. on Zanzibar, and -as we expected- there was nobody to pick us up. As we arrived quite early in the morning at Domokuchu nobody of the... More

The bungalows are nice, next to the beach with an awesome view. We stayed for four nights while kiteing at Zanzibar kite paradise. After staying there for two nights, we came back at 18.00 after a long day at the beach and found all of our luggage on the porch of our bungalow. They had checked us out without even... More

Let us start at the beginning when we arrived at Domokuchu. We walked in the gates and down to the beach seeing no one in sight. There is no reception desk, no manager to greet us and no welcome comments. Our driver was able to call to someone over to us. Before even meeting the man he says that we... More

It took a long taxi drive from Stone Town (about 40 min), but when I got there I could not stop jumping and laughing like a kid! Stunning view from all the bungalows. Theu are clean and even though have no AC there is a fan and moskito net which is absolutely enough. Brekfast of eggs, pancakes and fruit is... More

Excellent place to distress very quiet relaxing the staff were amazing the only thing was that there was no restaurant but this turned out to be a blessing as the staff can cook for your any local meal mostly FRESH SEA food which tested better than the meals we had at the nearby hotels. Looking forward to going back as... More

Firstly, let me say that this place absolutely met all my expectations. I was looking for a quiet place in close distance to the centre of Paje, with "private" beach and intimate atmosphere. Bungalows are situated in dead end of south Paje beach, after that there is a rock and nothing more (just road to Jambiani). But you still stay... More

Domokuchu is AMAZING. The bungalows are great. The staff is like a family and the cooperation with Bausinga's restaurant couldn't be any better. We had 2 nights in the standard bungalows a bit up the hill and moved later into the luxury bungalows just behind the dunes. The little breakfast gets derved every morning on your private terrace. It contains... More

This is a sweet, sweet place. With a real family feel, owners Shebi and Zoe take care of you from the get go. Wake up when you like and get a personally delivered breakfast to your bungalow. The secluded bungalows are the perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle of the beach strip, this cute getaway is highly recommended... More

Domokuchu was the only accommodation in Paje to answer an urgent phone call from a rather distressed human being in Stone Town seeking immediate hospitality. And as my stay progressed seemingly the only accommodation that packed enough punch to make me want more. A coastal hop, skip and jump from the main Paje beach, Domokuchu was both tranquil and attractive.... More
