Owned by South Africans, so very homey. Friendly, stunning, and quieter than the North side of the island, which means the beach is not packed with tourists. Close to dolphins, and the reef, and only 45 minutes from Stone Town and the airport. Pretty much in the middle of everything. more

Nice beach, staff, food and room but more expensive than alternatives that are around. Food prices v expensive but owner is a gem and made us lovely brownies for free. more
