We stayed here at the beginning of April with our 2 children, 13 and 9 for 8 days after a safari in Kenya. We arrived late at night very tired and hot but the welcome we received was outstanding. As it was after dinner time, they had left an array of sandwiches and fruit in our gorgeous villa which was... More

The accommodation at the baraza is individual luxury vilas in morocan inspired style. They are beautiful and well maintained. Staff are lovely and you are well looked after all times. Service around the pool during the day for food drinks and cocktails was very good and staff are very attentive. The food and service were 5 star and could not... More

My wife and I were fortunate enough to be upgraded after booking the sister resort Breezes for our honeymoon. The hotel itself was absolutely stunning. The gardens and villas very picturesque just walking into reception was other worldly compared to other hotels we had stayed in during our safari trip prior to arriving here. The attention to detail is second... More

We were lucky enough to spend 6 nights of our honeymoon here. The villas were beautifully decorated and very spacious. We had a private plunge pool, private sun loungers and a reserved area on the beach. At any time if we wanted any food or drink it was provided, made from scratch. The food was tremendous. I had lobster 4... More

The hotel is just amazing, the decoration is sumptuous with a lot of attention to detail. The furniture and fabrics are just spectacular. You really feel that you are in a Oman Palace. The service is perfect. The beach is spectacular, the sand is ultra white and the sea is turquoise. The suite a huge The place to go in Zanzibar!

We stayed here for 4 nights at the tailend of safari's in Tanzania and Kenya. Unfortunately, our luggage didn't arrive with us when we flew into Zanzibar, yet the staff at Baraza accommodated us, by providing extra robes and shorts and laundered our existing clothes. The GM empathized as he was originally from the Plaza in NYC, so he understand... More

After a week on safari in the Masaai Mara, I was ready for a week chilling out on a beach. My ocean front villa was huge, and gorgeously decorated in gold and cream tones fit for a sultan's palace, which is pretty much where it felt like I was! The private plunge pool and 'reserved' thatched umbrella and loungers on... More

My family and I were travelling for three weeks in Africa. After two weeks of safari we booked the Baraza Resort and Spa to rest for the end of the trip. It was absolutely amazing!
