We just returned from a fantastic holiday in the Zamani Kempinski Hotel in Zanzibar. We were on our honeymoon and decided to book the honeymoon special. Red sand, small villages, many smiling children and lots of tropical... more
It was wonderful. Great staff. Excellent spa facilities. The Thai massage was amazing. room was fantastic; the bathroom is outstanding - indoor & "star light" showers, great relaxing tub. Bed was a bit hard. Very romantic. Don't hesitate; this place is worth it. One night we ordered from menu (it was off season); menu dishes were excellent. Buffet for other... more
My partner and I just came back from Zamani Kempinski Zanzibar. We have spent a great relaxing time there. The property is quiet and elegant with beautiful gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean. The rooms / bathrooms are contemporary, huge and very clean. The restaurants are offering a good choice of local and international dishes. Finally, the beach which requires a... more

The jetty hosts sundecks, a bar and an entry point for snorkelling on... more

Beautiful view from the pool and the beaches are really like paradise. Food is OK - breakfast is really good (fresh carrot juice galore!), however... more
I thought it was about time I shared more of my trip to Zanzibar in February. I was there for two weeks with my girlfriend staying in three completely different areas/hotels. We have just returned from Zamani Kempinski Zanzibar and were there for the New Year celebrations. Starting on a positive note, the rooms are lovely with an amazing and spacious bathroom. You are given plenty of complimentary bottles of water in the room. The bars and restaurants are very pleasant and the hotel staff are friendly. There are two infinity... more
