This was a four day treat to myself in the middle of a three week vacation. The location, grounds, rooms and staff were heavenly. I had a Sea View half board room, that was fantastic. The room was beautifully decorated, the bathroom came with handmade soaps and shampoo from a local women's cooperative in town. The resort was peaceful and... More

A small and intimate resort. Great location the beach is absolutely amazing the tide is up and down and it changes every day with new surprises . The rooms are great and for a 3 star hotel they are a lot more ! Everything you need for a perfect vacation . The crew and especially Gabriella are there for everything... More

We stayed only for one night but truly enjoyed our time at this place. We stayed at a room facing the ocean. The room was very spacious, very clean, and well decorated. The toilet and bathroom was also very clean and spacious. It also has a spacious veranda facing the ocean. The beach in front of the property is beautiful.... More

Our cottage was very nice; the rooms were lovely and we were greeted with a bed covered in flower-petals! The main lodge had a lovely verandah with tea and cake available, which was a nice touch. However, Manager/owner did smoke on the verandah amongst guests, which some may find a bit irritating. Food was solid but not spectacular and the... More

Great location- beautiful, white sandy beach with natural pool right out front of the hotel. The grounds were very nice and well maintained. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Food was pretty good although fairly pricey when there's a good place down the beach (turn left when leaving hotel to the beach, called Seles Bungalows) that offers a variety... More

We stayed here for four nights in Sept. This hotel is on a very low key beach, yet is very easy to organize activities. The property is quiet and charming. Food is good, better than many larger lodges. Dinner is always served with several kinds of freshly baked bread. Local fish dishes are delicious. We had very tasty seafood risotto... More

This was a brilliant place to relax and take in the beauty. The room was spotless, and cleaned daily. We had room 5, in the main building. Lovely. The African staff were amazing and extremely courteous, friendly and always available to help out. They made our stay very enjoyable. The food was lovely, especially if you like seafood, which sadly... More

Friendly place, nice food and easy access from Stone Town. Swimming in the sea only at high tide. Difficult access to dive sites as boat trip only possible with high tide and bus trip back is long on rough roads. Awful diving with nearby One Ocean that organises diving for the masses. Worse dive of our lives, 40 min hovering... More

Villa Kiva is in a more remote part of Zanzibar so if you want quiet it is perfect but if you want activities and parties don't stay here as its a taxi ride to most places, which would add up really quick cost-wise. Our room was only a garden room but it was nestled in the back to the side... More

Hi Dave, good morning, your big problem was only with Travel Republic. You made a contract with them not with us and if they mistaken it's not our fault. We soon contacted Travel Republic for your problem and it was to them to resolve it, especially because you bought 13 days a very low price, too low, 13 days Half... More
