When i was first looking at going to Zanzibar Kasha was one of the first places that i came across. Reading through its reviews i was impressed until i came across two reviews that contradicted everybody else and i can honestly say those two bad reviews are AN ABSOLUTE LOAD OF RUBBISH!. We arrived at the hotel and were greeted... More

Just came back from a fab trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar ending with a stay at this FABULOUS hotel in Matemwe.....the hosts, Peter and Joanna Burri could not be more helpful, the hotel is perfectly situated, and the villas all have stunning views. After a dusty safari, a stay here is a real treat. The food and service a re... More

Truly an oasis in terms of its situation, space, scenery, serenity and sophistication! Kasha, perched high above the beautful sands with views to the reef and Mmemba Island, is a very special experience. From the expansive, tastefully decorated villas, the spacious gardens and luxurious infinity pool to the personal attention from mangers Peter and Joanna, all are privelages to be... More

We were not going to write a review about Kasha.............. However............ After looking at the reviews from other people we decided to give info on our time at Kasha. Obviously as others have mentioned – Rooms/Plunge Pools/views/locations etc. are fantastic. The food and service was not. The review left by *Minipuss* is similar to the experience that we had, although... More

My Girlfriend and I wanted a beach holiday. After several years of visiting the most random of places, trekking through jungles, museums and hostels, this time we wanted to sit on the beach and just do nothing for a few days. What we got, after three different travel agents, two other failed hotel bookings and the loss of some of... More

This is a truly wonderful place if one needs to get away from it all.The accommodation is fantastic, location wonderful, but above all,the care and attention from the staff and management was well above 5* standard.Nothing was too much trouble. If I ever get round to writing my book, this is where I will head for......

Kasha is a calm, relaxing place to stay. The hotel employes local people who are friendly, polite and eager to please. It helps the local village by buying fish and water from the locals. The villas are beautiful and have a romatic energy about them. Our stay was undisturbed by riff raff and our privacy was respected. The views from... More

The hotel has a beautiful view to the Indian ocean. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, cozy and extremely clean. Each bungalow has a comfortable terrace with a jacuzzi. The food is finger licking delicious. The restaurant an excellent selection of food, offering swahili traditional food and western cuisine. The poolside has a beautiful view to the ocean. The... My partner and I stayed for 4 nights at Kasha after spending 10 days in the south of the island. Having travelled for 15 mins along a bumpy track we were immediately warmly welcomed by our hosts and shown to our luxury accommodation with the most fantastic views of the Indian Ocean and Mnemba Island - it was breathtaking and...
