I stayed here back in 2012 and came here again in 2015 with my girlfriend. It's a very good option for someone who wants to stay somewhere cheap but also wants to be close to the beach (20 meters away). The rooms are relatively clean, however the bathroom had some mold and the wall had some dirt stains. I'd recommend... More

This hostel is actually quite gross, but the location really makes up for it. You literally wake up on the most beautiful beach of Zanzibar. Pros: Location Breakfast Cons: Rooms Toilets No hot water (not really necessary) No wifi Overall, it's still fairly cheap for a bed. Not terrible for a night or two.

Dirty toilets. The mattresses are brown with filth. Avoid at all costs. Worst hotel ever. Anywhere but Jambo Brothers! What a beautiful location, the staff should be ashamed of themselves. We asked for the room to be cleaned, never happened, never will! Previous guests turds still in the toilet, mine are there now.

- Clean rooms with private bathroom. - Just 20 meters from the beach. - good staff to help you arrange tours/transport. - great location to go out during night and have some beers at the local places. Also just 3 min waling from the supermarket(wifi place). - the restaurant was good(not superb), the prices are good compared with other near... More

My friend and I arrived aboard the trucks turned into buses from Stone Town with absolutely no idea on where we were staying. On arriving at Nungwi, after an incredible journey north, we were approached by a sincere looking young man who wanted to know where we were staying. After several ecounters with fraudsters in stone town, those trying to... More

You can not complain about prices in Africa, the location of the place is good and walking distance to all the places and diving centers on the beach. It is safe and rooms are basic but clean and decent and they have an AC and hot water, but be careful of the restaurant as it's super expensive and I had... More

You definitely get what you pay for in Nungwi. The bungalows are right on the beach, and if you're lucky enough to get a beach fronting one, the views are great. However, the rooms are basic. Our room flooded every time there was rain (it came under the front door), the toliet got clogged on multiple occasions and the shower... More

There is not much choice of budget accommodation in Nungwi, so you might choose to stay here. IThe rooms and the location seemed better to us then the Nungwi Guesthouse. The rooms are ok and the breakfast is basic, but fine. If you want your room to be cleaned you can ask for it. There is not area to sit... More

We paid 40,000 per night for two double beds which we used only one. The light did not initially work and the hot water was off. Both got fixed the same evening. They did not clean the rooms once and seemed to just hang around not doing much. The location however is good close to all restaurants and bars. 30... More

The bungalows are right on the beach, with a great view from the front porch. Unfortunately, that means entrepreneurs can walk right up to the front porch with their wares, so you sometimes have to go inside to end the sales pitches. One night a man came and banged on the windows and shouted. I presume he walked off the... More
