Stayed here for 3 days, left to visit another part of the island but decided to come back for another 2! The location is absolutely superb!! We managed to get the price down quite a lot but we were there during low season. Zanzibar is not a cheap place hotelwise so this was pretty good for the location and the... More

The title says it all. When me and my friends arrived, we were amazed by the beauty of the place : nice little 'houses' right on an amazing beach... we thought we were about to spend a luxus holiday but that was before seing our room. After visiting different hotels we decided to book this one because of the wifi... More

My friends and I stayed at Nungwi Inn for 3 nights after a trip in Stonetown and the south of the island. We are used to sleeping in simple hotels and hostels but Nungwi Inn was very disappointing. We picked Nungwi Inn after having seen a few other places to compare what was available. It seemed like Nungwi Inn had... More

We stayed here at the end of our over landing trip. First two nights with the tour, and last few just me and my partner. When we checked in, our tour guide asked for us the have the best room as we were staying on longer. We got a bungalow on the beach, which we initlaly thought was brililant. We... More

He had 28 people in our group and Nungwi Inn met our needs. It is well located on the beach with several dining choices in the area. Rooms were clean, but the bathrooms need some work. The bathroom tap did not work well and the shower is almost certainly sitting on mold since water flows freely under if through the... More

We stayed here as part of a tour so am not sure how expensive it is.   The bungalows are basic but have air conditioning, comfortable beds, hot powerful showers and are fairly clean.  Staff were friendly and were keen to ensure that our room was a double as opposed to a twin four poster bed and put the beds... This is a decent budget accommodation right on the beach. We stayed there with our then 2 year old daughter. She loved the beach in front of the hotel because she could wade out into the water quite a ways when the tide was out. We enjoyed the local activity in the afternoons on the beach (pick-up football games). The... More

We stayed two nights at this hotel and enjoyed the room, the pool, the very nice restaurant and more especially the great beach. The hotel has all the amenities that you can look for. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very copious. The personnel was nice but for the most part limited in English. Free internet!

This hotel was booked by a tour after a two-week overland safari through Kenya and Tanzania. When we first arrived the group was thrilled - beautiful beach, nice-looking beach bungalows instead of camping. But the rooms were dirty and the hassle on the beach was unbelievable, really aggressive especially towards women. On our final night, a woman in our group... More

I ended a 10 day safari with 2 nights at the Nungwi Inn. The booking was made by my tour so I can't comment on that service but I splashed out on a single room, which had a double bed, for 45$US (not sure if this was discounted as we were a group) and was happy with what I got,... More
