We booked the Molope tented camp and it was my first time "camping". The camp was very picturesque and the tents were very comfortable. We went in winter and unfortunately, nights are FREEZING and there are no heaters but lots of blankets which I made use of. I would recommend not to take this option if you're going in the... More

We went to Lindani to celebrate my fathers 70th. We stayed at Motseng in one of 3 family cottages (more like houses) that looked out onto a plain. All of us had small kids with us and it was perfect. The garden is tastefully fenced off stopping little ones heading out into the veld or buck coming inside. The pool... More

We stayed at Lindani for the first time recently on the recommendation of a friend. What a beautiful place! We stayed in Bush Lodge and were very happy with the facilities. The cottage is fully equipped and you really don't need to take anything other than food and drink. We opted for the no service, no catering option as we... More

If you want solitude and peace and quiet, this is the place to go. Walk for hours with natural beauty surrounding you; no sounds other than that of the birds; no soul in sight other than possibly a couple of warthogs, blue wildebeest or zebra. We have been to Lindani a couple of times and have stayed at quite a... More

We had the old watering hole house with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. At night I had a hard time sleeping because I just wanted to keep watching the animals that came to the watering hole at night in the back yard. The decor was authentic old bush house and delightful. Wanted to buy the bed linens to take home!... More

I joined seven others (four adults and four children total) at Lindani last weekend and the experience was phenomenal. We saw giraffe, waterbuffalo, warthogs, monkeys, baboons, kudu, impala, and more. We had total privacy in our lodging, but also had access to staff if we needed it. Our house was spacious and outfitted with every convenience. The kids loved our... More

I have been to LIndani several times, and this past weekend went with a group of friends to stay at their Motseng Lodge. It really is a wonderful place to unwind - all the comforts of home (dishwasher and coffee plunger!), they think of all the little things that make you feel welcome. Walking and cycling are great, and coming... More

We recently visited Lindani Thabeng Bush Lodge in Vaalwater, which exceeded all my expectations.........What a quaint, neat and clean lodge! We did some mountain biking, some walking trails and the beauty of the bushveld was undeniably awesome. This is an ideal retreat for small or large groups. We will be back! Exceptional! Saw so many animals!

This is the second time I had gone to Lindani, and I was not disappointed. On both occasions I was there on a writing retreat and I achieved my goal every time. The first time we stayed at a lodge, which unfortunately is no longer part of Lindani. The second time around we stayed at Motseng, which is amazing if... More

Three of us, 2 from the UK and 1 from Zim, have been working long long hours on a large technology project based in Johannesburg. We took advantage of a pause in the project plan to get a way for a weekend. And what a break. We arrived under observation from a smalll herd of impala snuggled down for the... More
