Stayed here on our 9 month old daughters first holiday while visiting family nearby. We could not have dreamt of a more hospitable, easy going and down to earth family to stay with. Black Gap Farm gets an 'Excellent' from us for a great farmhouse experience! They are a working farm, and the B&B is run by Marie McIlroy, a charming and wonderful woman. They raise chickens, have 3 huge henhouses, and also raise cows for milk. There are ponies and horses as well. If you go in the springtime, you will see... More

Black Gap Farm has to be the best place we've ever stayed. A genuinely pleasing farm in the middle of the country with all the sights and sounds of a country farm.
